Life As A BloodWolf

Chapter 3

As always,helen is the first to wake up and was about to get up off of max when she felt his hand  back on her butt, she was about to hit him but decided to let it be, besides he did jump in the middle of the road to save her, even though they both died, but he still tried.

Helen decided to wake him up since they were in the barn and needed to get out of the village before any villagers saw them,or max anyways,.

"Max" she called softly

"Hmm" max answered sleepily

"We gotta get up" helen told him

"Ok"

"Oh and max?"

"Hmm"

This time max looked up at helen and was waiting to hear what she was gonna say.

"You're poking me" helen said, referring to his red rocket braced against her stomach.

Max was blushing and quickly got from under helen and stood by the barn door, "sorry about that"

"It's ok" she said and giggled at the way he reacted, "do you hear anyone outside"?

Max looked out the door and saw alot of people outside walking in and out of stores, children running and playing and stuff like that. "Yea it's crowded out there, walking out causally is not a good idea"

"You're right, guess we just have to stay put"

"No that's not a good idea either because if anyone comes in here we are trap and I don't want to kill anyone" max said and then got an idea, "but we can make a break for it"

Helen looked at max and looked at the door, "ok but you're gonna have to burst through the door,if you keep it open you will be spotted before you escape.

"You just want to make a dramatic exit dont you "

"Onwards" helen said and max sighed and started bolting for the barn door with his head down and as soon as he made contact the door flew open but by then max was already a good ways from the barn, people started screaming and running for their lives , but Max just kept running.

After running for what felt like forever the two made it to a Cave  right in front of a lake and max was the first to start lapping up the water.

"Well someones thirsty" helen said And laughed after max glared at her.

"I had to fetch you" max said as he went into the cave.

Helen just continued laughing and followed him into the cave until she heard laughing.

Out from between the trees came four boys.

Three with sticks and the fourth on the ground as if they were beating him.

Helen Was about to go out and help until she felt max hold her back. "Let's see what happens" he said

" Haha I just love kicking your ass" said one of the three boys and he kicked the boy on the ground in his stomach.

The boy on the ground got up and punched one of the three making him fall into the others making the three boys fall,and then ran into the cave.

"Hey get back here, I'm not finished with you" another boy said and they walked up to the cave.

But as they walked to the cave they all stopped dead in their tracks, for in front of them stood the biggest blood wolf  they have ever seen.

They all stood looking at one another,the boys trembling and max there with a devilish grin on his face when he thought of an idea, "Boo" he said  and the boys all started running for their live almost bumping into trees.

"Ha, that'll teach em"max said and started laughing, until helen slapped him behind the head.

Then they both look down at the boy who was hiding behind max.

"What's  your name kid"  max asked the boy.

"K-kiko " the boy said

"Well kiko, my Name is helen and this blood wolf is max" helen said.

"Why were those boys beating you". Max asked

"I'm an orphan" kiko said and a tear rolled down his  cheek.

"Aww don't cry buddy"  max then realised the boys bruises and cuts and he felt sorry for him."we gotta get you to a doctor"

Helen then looked at max and told him that when they reach the village she will take him and while max hid outside.

After max took helen and kiko to the village he told kiko that if he was ever in trouble just yell for him and be would come.

Helen took kiko to the Doctor and left And she and max were laying under a nearby tree,far out of anyone's view,and then both of their stomachs growled, luckily the tree they were under was a peach tree and they ate to theirs hearts content.

"Wow that's was some sweet peach" max said as he licked his lips .

"I know but tomorrow we should go hunting,i don't think we can each peach every day" she said

"Sure thing" he said and then he shot up, almost startling helen.

"What is it"? helen asked in a worried voice.

"Kiko" he said and Helen got onto his back and they darted off towards the village.

Meanwhile back at the village, kiko finished seeing the doctor , all bandaged up and he felt great...that is until he felt a pain in his head and saw  a man holding a stick, which is obviously the reason for the pain in his head.

"Why did you hit me" kiko asked the man.

"Quiet sorcerer" said the old man who had a name sewed into his shirt, it was cryptic,probally his name.

After hearing the word sorcerer everyone stopped what they were doing and formed a gathered around cryptic.

"What are you going on about" a voice from within the crowd said. "There's no way hes a sorcerer"

"I'm not" said kiko

"Liar" said one of the boys from earlier,who max scared off his name was Kenny. "You went into a blood wolf's cave and we saw it so explain how you are still alive?!.

"He must be controlling the beast's mind" said another person from the crowd. "Get the royal guard's .

After a few minutes some guards came and tried taking kiko away   but he ran away and now the whole village was behind him.

They managed to trap him,some at the back and some at the front and kiko started thinking of how he would get out of this mess,
And then he remembered max's words ("if you're Ever in trouble just yell for me, I'll be there)

So kiko stopped running and breathed in a good amount of air, "here goes nothing" he thought. And with all his might he screamed into the air,MAX!!

The villagers all stared at him as if he was crazy, that is until they heard the howling of a wolf,and just not any wolf a blood wolf.

The were all even more shocked when they say a big,no not big, HUGE blood wolf jumped over the wall and landed in front of kiko with a woman on its back.

Helen got off of max's back and looked at the villagers. "Do we have a problem here"?
