Chapter 7

"really, is that it"? Max asked as he now picked up the unconscious stan and threw him over to the pack of blood wolves.

Nayline then looked at the queen, "where are they"?

Zadavia was about to speak when max cut her off, "who is they"?

It was ratchet that spoke this time, "we were made to believe that two reincarnated souls made their way into ragnolia about two days ago"

"Any specific reason why you are looking for them"? Helen asked.

Ratchet sighed before he answered, "we need their help in defeating the demon lord".

At the mention of that most of the villagers gasped, and murmurs could be heard amongst them.

"Im one of the reincarnated souls" said max, "however, I won't be telling you who the other one is, until I know I can trust you".

Ratchet and nayline and the other blood wolves kneeled before max.
"Our king!" They all said.

Everyone in the room looked at max, if it were possible he would have probably looked at himself as well.

"K-king"?

Ratchet got up, " queen zadavia, I'm sorry for what happened here, I assure you this won't happen again".

Zadavia nodded, accepting ratchets apology, few minutes later the villagers left the castle and left the pack of blood wolves, max, kiko and the three girls, and also the queen,.

"So what's this about max being a king"? Kiko asked.

"Technically he's the blood wolf king," nayline stated. "It was said that the next blood wolf king will be of a reincarnated soul, and he would have a companion with him, and they would defeat the demon lord".

"I'll do it, I'll defeat the demon Lord" saying this caused everyone to stare at him.

"We'll have to take you to our pack, just to straighten things out"

Then olivia looked over to zadavia, "my queen, you've been awfully quiet, what's the matter"?

Zadavia just shook her head, "nothing my dear, just a little confused about that attempted attack"

"Once again, we're sorry about that"ratchet said.

"Welp, let's get going then" max said.

As the group maid their way to the blood wolves camp, max looked up at the three women and kiko on his back. "You know you guys didn't have to come"

Olivia scratched max behind the ear, "but we want to, and don't worry, I have friends that will look over my house while we're gone".

Max sighed as he kept walking, couple hours after they got to a camp, filled with blood wolves, "woah"

As the group entered the camp, alot of  the blood wolves would stare at the newcomers, mostly at max.

"Don't worry about them" ratchet said as he lead them to a cave, "I'm afraid only blood wolves from this point on"

The girls along with kiko got off of Max's back as he stood up and went in the cave, "this sucks" kiko said.

As they entered the cave max saw a blood wolf siting on a large boulder, with his back to them, "so you made it I see"

Ratchet nudged max , informing him to acknowledge.

"Uhh, yea,,,,I think"

The wolf turned around and faced the trio,  max noticed he was a little more aged than the rest, maybe he's the elder?"I take it you understand why you were brought here"?

"Something about defeating the demon lord?"

The old wolf smiled, "that's part of it, you also have to claim the title as King,

"Ok"

They all looked at max with shocked expressions, not expecting for him to agree so quickly.

"Uhh, well let's get to it then"

Outside of the cave, the girls sat under a tree near the camp, with kiko sitting in Jasmine's lap, then they saw max and came out followed by ratchet, nayline and an older looking bloodwolf.

"Attention everyone," ratchet yelled, trying to get everyones attention.
When that was done he then gestured to the elder.

"Thank you ratchet" the elder then looked at the crowd, "max here is now our newest blood wolf king, he's also the one who will be defeating the demon lord, or try atleast".

Max looked out as started to speak, "I'm gonna ignore that last part elder, but he's right, I will be the one who is gonna defeat the demon lord, and apparently be your new king",,,"any questions"?

Everyone looked around, until a hand popped out, "I have a question, how do we know you can even defeat the demon lord?, "Many have tried and failed, what makes you any different,"?

This caused alot of murmurs in the crowd, max looked at the young blood wolf who asked the question,"what's your name kid"?

"Connie "

"So connie, what kind of proof do you want that I can actually defeat the demon lord"?

"Fight kyler".
