Once upon a time there were two races: Humans and Monsters. One day, war broke out. Then the barrier was constructed with magic. Then one day, a human fell down. Followed by 6 more. Then the last human. The eighth. They went through without harming anyone. And almost freed monster kind. They found out they lacked the ability to have more than 1 soul. ASRIEL couldn't take it down, either. He just reduced the restraint for passing from 1 human soul and 1 monster to 1 human soul and 1/2 of a monster soul. Not very helpful, right?
Anyways, their name was Frisk. They are trapped underground, but they're happy to stay. Their friends were... sans, Toriel, ASGORE, Papyrus, Undyne, Alphys, Ic, Froggit, Mettaton, and Monster kid. Got that? And Frisk misses Asriel Dreemurr. They keep seeing Flowey, lonely and sad, leaving them feeling bad. Asriel's words on that day, "Don't you have anything better to do?" Hurt them so bad. Despite what he did to Frisk and their friends, Frisk feels he deserves forgiveness. Asriel didn't.
