Frisk sat in their room, deep in thought. Flowey had controlled their dreams. But how? At first glance when he tried to kill Frisk, he looked powerful, with an ATK of 19. But he got all the vines and powerful friendliness pellets by absorbing some SOULs. But the human souls went missing. And Flowey became a better Flowey. He wouldn't hurt any monsters. How would he possess such power? Mysteries most definitely go unsolved sometimes. And this was one of those times.

Frisk decided to sleep. But since Ic was nearby, the little detective came and figured things out pretty quick.

"Hey! You've been busy, huh?"

These words, as well, hit Frisk hard. This had been what sans had said when they reached judgement after Genocide. Frisk always respected Sans after that. Sans seemed lazy, but when he wanted to, he could put up a good fight.

They watched as the small-grey-hooded-non-binary-preferring-male-skeleton-similar-to-sans walked up to them.

"I said 'Hey, You've been busy, huh?'." he pointed out. Frisk nodded. "Thinkin' about...?"

"..."

"Hey! I told you to tell me somethin', not nothin'!" he laughed. "Really though. I'm here to help, everyone here is! Why won't you tell me anything?" "Maybe I should ask the Flower."

Frisk sighed. They weren't sure if Flowey would be any help to Ic.

Flowey came there. He said that he had had a similar dream, where a more formal version of Asriel wearing Chara's clothes told Flowey to give Frisk a cookie. Alphys had said she'd discovered something similar, dubbing it Alternate Timelines or Universes, where the people or events or both are different. In fact, after even more research, she'd discovered that there's an original timeline where Ic doesn't exist and the monsters were freed. EVEN MORE research revealed role and personality swap, an edge hell, a genocidal Sans, and many more. What Flowey presumed that Asriel was, was a version who came from a personality swap only timeline. He also, in the background saw a Sans wearing a red scarf, white sweater, acting all optimistic and like Papyrus, judging Frisk, and Papyrus wearing Sans' outfit, acting like him too.

Suffice to say, Frisk's questions led to more questions. And that caused Frisk a lack of sleep.
