Takagi-san vs Nishikata round 2

Chapter 108: Confession

Nishikata and his friend Tako had  been asked to meet Hamaguchi in the classroom.

" Why did you want us to meet you here?" Asked Nishikata.

" What are you going to ask us out? " Said Tako sarcastically.

" Yes. " Said Hamaguchi.

" W-w-what?! " Said Tako alarmed.

" Today. I'm going to ask houjou out. But I need you two to do the same." Said Hamaguchi.

" What are you talking about? " Asked Tako.

" NISHIKATA! YOU ASK TAKAGI SAN, AND TAKO YOU ASK TSUKIMOTTO! " Yelled Hamaguchi.

A blush started to creep out on Nishikats face.

" Everyone already knows that you two like them. " Said Hamaguchi.

" W-why do we have to? " Asked Nishikata.

" Because I'm scared to do it myself! " Said Hamaguchi. He then started to cry.

" Wow. You are really pathetic man." Said Tako.

"SHUT UP!" Yelled Hamaguchi.

*Later

Nishikata was walking with Takagi but he wasn't listening to what she was talking about, he was lost in his own thoughts.

' There is no way I can do this. Why should I anyway? I don't like her'Thought Nishikata.

He then remembered what Hamaguchi said.

'Everyone knows that you two like them'.

'Why does everyone think that? C-could I Possibly like her and not realize it? 'Thought Nishikata.

"Nishikata." Said Takagi snapping Nishikata out of his thoughts.

" W-w-what is it t-takagi San?" Asked Nishikata.

"I don't think you are listening to me Nishikata." Said Takagi.

"I-im sorry." Said Nishikata.

Takagi just hummed in response.

"What were you thinking about? " Asked Takagi.

" J-just something a friend talked about earlier. " Said Nishikata.

" Oh, was this friend a girl? "Asked Takagi in a quiet voice.

" Uh no. J-just don't worry about it" Said Nishikata.

" I'm curious to know now. We're you thinking about me? " Asked Takagi.

Nishikats face turned red.

" Hahahah, I knew it." Said Takagi.

'Damn you Takagi San. I just wish you could stop the teasing. Then it wouldn't be so bad to hang out with you. After all Takagi San is pretty cute'Thought Nishikata.

'... Huh! '

Nishikata mentally smacked himself.

'W-what am I thinking?' Thought Nishikata.

"D-d-doesnt that mean that I really do l-l-like Takagi san? '

"Nishikata. Your face is red." Said Takagi. " I really want to know what you are thinking about.

"N-no. Please just stop teasing me" Said Nishikata.

"I'm not. I really want to know. You just keep thinking to yourself and I want to know what is going on"Said Takagi.

'S-she is being serious. I-i think I really do like her. But there is no way I can say that. But if I don't and Hamaguchi does, he will be very ticked off. ' Thought Nishikata.

"T-t-takagi San." Said Nishikata.

"What is it Nishikata?" Asked Takagi.

Nishikata stared into her eyes.

'I hate myself. ' Thought Nishikata.

"T-t-takagi San. I l-l-like..."

"Hmmm? Like what?" Asked Takagi.

"You" Nishikata whispered.

"I'm sorry I couldn't hear that." Said Takagi as she got closer to him.

" I SAID I LIKE YOU! " Yelled Nishikata. It took everything he had to say it. He took a look at Takagi and saw something he never thought he would see.

She was blushing with her mouth open.

"I-i-i am sorry Takagi-san!" Panicked Nishikata. He raised his bag to his face to cover up his face.

'Stupid , stupid , stupid! I didn't even think about how she would respond or feel. I probably just ended whatever we had! ' Nishikata thought and cursed himself.

"N-nishikata" Said Takagi.

Did he hear that right? Did Takagi stutter?.

Nishikata lowered his bag and he saw Takagi was crying with a blush still on her face.

"T-t-takagi San i-i didn't mean to make y-you cry, I'm so-

" I like you too" Takagi interuppted him.

" W-W-WHAT! " Said Nishikata.

" I always have. That's why I tease you so much." Said Takagi. She went up to him and planted a kiss on his cheek causing him to blush even more.

"T-t-takagi san." Said Nishikata and he put a hand on his cheek.

"C'mon let's go! " Said Takagi. She grabbed his hand and started leading him.

"Wait where we going?" Asked Nishikata.

"There is a lot of things that I wanted us to do once we got together" Said Takagi.

' Oh great. I doubt the teasing will at least dial down.  I just hope that Hamaguchi confessed' Thought Nishikata.

He didn't.
