Just Too Jumbled

Pax is way too large to be this suffocating, and even in the taxi Ken is trying to everything he can to breathe. Make the trip with Felix light and comfortable and not everything left unsettled between them. Thankfully the Swede has turned the video camera off for the moment. His slender hands now fiddling with his own phone as the car moves slowly to the area of town that has the little shops. Ken opens his mouth to start any type of conversation, but every single topic that pops in his mind can head down into territories that will not be okay.

Marzia and Mary are off the table for sure. Too many memories are tied up in both of their lovely faces. Gaming is a safer bet.

"Heard you've been playing a few more online games on your channel," Ken prompts and the light blue eyes lift up from the phone screen and onto Ken's face.

""Yeah," Felix answers. "Trying to get out of so many memes and such. Hard to know what fans want nowadays so keeping it fresh is the best bet and all."

Ken nods in agreement. This is going smoothly so far. He just needs to keep it going. Another safe subject.

"Have you seen any good movies?"

Ken winces at the cheesy question, and Felix giggles as he rolls his eyes at the raven.

"Did you just ask me like the worse ice breaker on the planet?" Felix teases, and he nudges Ken in his ribs softly with his shoulder. "What's your next pick up line? I lost my number baby, can I get yours?"

Felix stops his sentence at the look on Ken's face. The dark eyes wide and cheeks turning red.

"Sorry," Felix mutters. "That wasn't meant the way it - "

"It's okay, " Ken says with a wave of his hand. "Not like I ever would put out for a corny line like that anyway."

Silence, and then both of the men fall out in laughter. The tension broken and it feels wonderful to Ken. This is what they are known for, and even if it went too far once upon a time, the sweet and gentle flirting is part of who they are. Ken isn't the same person he was all those years ago, and by everything he's seeing, neither is Felix.

"Here we are," the cab driver says as they pull up to a small area of tiny shops. Felix gets out and pays the driver before Ken can get the chance. He ignores the taller man's protest as he heads into the first shop. A tiny music store filled from the floor the ceiling with all kinds of records, CDs and audio tapes. Ken smirks as Felix turns on his mini cam and yells out to the imagined audience, then gives another cheery wave as the camera is swung around to him.

"Jack is more into rock than Mark," Felix says into the lens, "But I don't think that should stop us from giving this place a look. What you think, Ken?"

"Sounds like maybe you don't know what Mark likes and this is a way to just get Jack a gift."

Felix pulls a mock hurt expression and stomps away angrily to the back of the store. Ken laughs loudly and starts to check some of the retro sections of the shop. Considering that Ken can't recall the last time that Mark listened to anything vintage, he still hopes for the best. Perhaps there is something in the collection that will catch his eye. The clerk in the front of the store has a worried look on his face as his gaze heads to the area where Felix is loudly shouting into his camera. Maybe Ken needs to buy something just as a partial apology for all of the noise.

A crash in the back of the store cements that idea, and within the next few minutes Felix is being pulled out of the store by a very red faced Ken. Felix is waving his camera and smiling like a madman as Ken's free hand is holding a bag of a lot of new items just bought at the record store.
