Third Person POV

Brick gulped as he realized his mistake and instantly tried to think of an excuse.

"Brick. How did you know it was Aku who texted me?!" Blossom demanded.

Brick nervously smiled and laughed. He didn't know what to say or do so it was just silent. That is not good.

"Um?" He mumbled still thinking.

"Well?!" She yelled angry that she still wasn't getting a response from him.

"Didn't you said he asked you to marry him earlier on the day we hanged out?!" Brick said having Blossom think for a moment.

She looked at him and semi smiled nodded as she remembered.

"And I guess he got third times the charms." He mumbled, Blossom still heard him.

"How did you know he called me three times?" She questioned remembering she only told him that ONE time so he should be thinking this was the second.

"What?" Brick nervously said looking at her with a blank face.

"Do you know Aku?" She asked moving away from him with a disgusted look.

Brick looked at her and took a deep breath. "Yes." Blossom gasped and got up walking away from him.

"Look I quit. I." He was cut off from her. "Your work for him?!" She said behind her counter.

He facepalmed himself, why the fuck did I have to start talking! He thought.

He got up and walked towards Blossom extending his arms out showing he didn't want to fight.

"Okay... yeah I did BUT I quit!" He said hoping she see's the good in him.

"Ohh? Should you get a medal for that?!" She didn't see the good in him. Brick walked slower to her but she still backed away.

"GET AWAY FROM ME!" She yelled grabbing the nearest object.

"Blossom listen to me please!" He begged still walking to her.

"Why?! You lied to me this whole time! What were you really up to? Huh if you quit what were you trying to do to me!"

Brick sighed, he knew if he told her the truth it would probably make it worse, but what can he do?

"I was supposed to make you realize Aku isn't a bad guy to get you to marry him." She looked at him

"WHAT?!" She screamed dropping the object and walking straight to him.

"You were here to TRICK ME into marrying Aku!" She yelled her finger sharply pointing his chest.

All Brick could do was nod and look away. "I'm sorry... That's why I quit, because I started to gain feeling for you." He looked at her

All she gave him was a disgusted look again.

"With all the lies you been telling me, how should I believe you now?!" She asked

"You shouldn't... but please believe me." He said looking at straight in the eyes

She looked at him and shook her head. "I think you should go." She looked away.

Brick looked at her in disbelief. "Blossom please believe me!" He said walking backwards as Blossom walked still facing him.

"I can't, we'll I just need time." She said opening the door and having Brick exit.

"And to believe the guy who I thought was perfect for me ended up being a liar." She whispered still Brick heard her.

"Bye Brick." She said closing the door leaving him alone on the front porch.

"But... blossom..."
