Chapter 7: UNDER EDITING

Stella's POV:

I lunged over to Scott and Liam and I knoced Liam onto the ground getting on top of him.

He started to get angry and try to hurt me but once he saw it was me he calmed down and went back to his human form.

Liam was taking short deep breaths to get calm and so was I.

"I don't believe it" Scott said and we all looked over to him.

"what" Liam asked in confusion.

"Stella's your anchor." Scott said to Liam.

"What" He said again this time sitting up and tossing me to the side as he stood up.

"What's an anchor?" Liam questioned.

"have Stella explain it to you" Scott said. "Kira and I need to go help Stiles and Malia, Stella you chain Liam up to the pole and don't leave the boat house at all.

So Scott and Kira left and somehow Liam agreed for me to chain him up so I did so and Scott and kira left a folded up blanket so I set it on the ground and rested my head on it.

"So what's an anchor?" Liam asked.

"It's basically a person or thing that you care about that makes you calm." I said. Where my head was layed I was looking right at him.

"But I barely know you." Liam protested.

"Well that's your own personal problem." I said.

"Can I ask you something?" Liam asked.

"Sure I guess" I said.

"Garrett told me how into each other you guys were how come nothing ever happened?" He asked.

"I was never into him he just tells everybody that so he doesn't sound ike a loser." I said.

He said you only ever dated one guy" Liam said,

"Yeah, that's true." I said.

"Who was it?" liam asked,

"Why do you care" I asked him back

''I just figured if we were gonna be stuck out here for a few hours together might as well talk instead of just sitting in an awkward silence.

I took a deep breath then mumbled. "Some lacrosse player from Devenford Prep."

"That's where I went to school, who was it?" Liam asked.

"Brett Tablot." I said.

Liam didn't say anything we just sat there not talking.

"How come you don't play lacrosse anymore?" Liam asked. "I can tell you want to but why wont your dad let you?"

"Being a werewolf and playing lacrosse aren't the best things together since it's a sport based on anger." I replied.

"How does Scott do it then?" Liam asked.

"He's an alpha he can control much better than everyone else." I said.

''Well you're in control right now." Liam protested.

"yeah so are you." I stated.

"But how." He asked.

"You're just calm I guess" I said.

"Why are you so calm.'' he asked.

"I don't know I usually am." I said.

I heard footsteps coming down to the boathouse and I caught a scent, it was Mason.

"Mason's coming I said getting up and walking over to Liam to get his chains undone.

"What why" He asked.

"I don't know." I said getting the last chain undone.

He shook them off his arms and stood up. I grabbed his hand and took him behind a big cupboard so Mason wouldn't see him when he was walking in.

I looked into Liam's eyes and put my pointer finger to my lips and said."shhh" softly.

"Stella are you in here" Mason asked.

I Stumbled out from behind the cupboard leaving Liam back there.

"Yeah"I stammered as I stumbled out to him.

"What were you doing back there?" Mason asked.

"Lydia asked me to look for something." I lied

"Oh, have you seen Liam he said he was going to be here but I haven't seen him." Mason asked.

"What, No why would I know where he is.'" I said nervously I was terrible at lying.

''Um I don't know I thought he was into you so he would want to hangout or something." Mason said.

"Oh well I don't know where he is maybe he's with Garrett." I said.

"No, I was just with Garrett'' He said." Oh and by the way Garrett told me he wanted to ask you something he said you two were making out in the kitchen and he wanted to make you two official" Mason said.

"What, no that never happened and never will" I said.

"Alright well do you want me to help you find what Lydia wanted." Mason asked.

"Uh no but thanks i'll just try to find it myself." said.

"alright" mason said then he started to walk back to the House.

"Liam you can come out now" I said.

He walked out and I chained him back up.

"Do I really need to be chained up" Liam whinned.

"Yeah" I said.

laying back down with me head on the folded up blanket.

We were silent for a while then I looked over to him trying to flip his hair since one piece escaped his gel and was hanging down in his face.

I got up and walked over to him. I got down on my knees one on each side of him.

"here" I said reaching for the hair that was down and putting it behind his hair that was already gelled up. His heart beat got faster as I fixed his hair.

"Your heart beats accelerating" I laughed still sitting over him.

"You make me nervous" He laughed.

"here" I said. I started to unlock the chains and take them off him. I got the last unlocked and he pulled them off. I was still ontop of him.

He looked at me with his big blue eyes and I looked at him.

He cautiously placed his hands at my waist and started to pull me closer to him. We were really close and his breathing got deeper as our faces got closer.

"STELLA" Scott shouted running in from the house.

I jumped off Liam right as Scott came in.

"Yeah" I said.

"Lydia found something in the lakehouse she need you to go up and help her" Scott said.

"But what about Liam" I asked.

"Ill stay with him. But go Lydia's waiting." Scott said.

So I ran to the lakehouse and found Lydia
