Through Fire

Chapter 3

"She is almost ready to be reunited to us" I heard a male voice say echoing in the darkness that I was now walking through. I couldn't save Jeremy and we both had fallen down this big black hole only for me to be alone. The mystery man had stood and watched us both fall down and didn't even attempt to stop us from falling, almost as if he wanted us to fall down.

" Our family reunited and no one will be able to stop us." Hearing the female talk as well her voice almost made me feel whole as a person. Her voice was always calling for me and now I may be able to finally see her. I began running and I felt the burning pain on the bottom of my bare feet once more and a light that seemed so far away. Running faster towards the light hoping to finally see her to put a face to the voice and to find out who she really is. As I kept on running the light seemed to keep getting further and further away.

"NO!!!!!"

Bolting right up in the bed as my eyes opened and gasping to catch my breath as I put my hand on my chest. It all felt so real and the dream started different I thought I wasn't going to dream about that ever again. Of course that dream wasn't going to go away so easily as I hoped it would stop. Looking around I saw Sam already awake and playing her video games on the TV while I was sleeping. As I ran a hand through my hair I got out of bed and she paused her video game and looked back at me.

"Morning Sunshine."

"Morning... I had that dream again but it was different." I said and Sam looked at me a bit shocked as well when I said it was different. I always tell her about it everyday and it is always the same dream over and over so its no surprise she is as shocked as I am. Sam paused her game and stood up and walked over to me and pulled me right into a hug. It was nice to have her know what was going on so I had someone to talk to about this and she never judges me about it. Does not help the fact that I still feel like I am going insane and something is wrong about me, but at least this means I do not have to talk to someone I hardly know about it.

" Jesus Lilly maybe the dreams are trying to tell you something." Shrugging my shoulder I looked at her and sighed not sure what to think.

" No clue I always hear the women calling out to me and its like her voice is so calming and welcoming... Its like I've met her before but I never see her face... I sound so insane." I said awkwardly laughing.

"You kind of do Lilly, but I understand." Sam said and offered me a small smile and I returned her smile as well. My stomach started grumbling and growling and I knew that I was feeling hungry as I really didn't eat much yesterday or at all before the game but a quick bite. Sam raised an eyebrow looking at me and I shrugged slightly and she just shook her head and laughed at me and I pushed her playfully. Somedays I will hardly eat and somedays I love to eat every little thing that is in site which some people think is weird, but somedays I just am not really hungry at all. I have come to the conclusion that I am very weird and that wont change anytime soon like I hope it would before college but doesn't look like it.

" Come on let's go eat you must be hungry."

"What gave it away." I said sarcastically smiling and she grabbed my hand.

" The monster in your belly did." She said and we died out laughing as she kept ahold of my hand and pulled me out of the room. Heading downstairs and into the kitchen Jeremy was already awake and he was standing there shirtless in the kitchen making coffee. I could not help but notice how toned he was now and how big his muscles were and not to mention that perfect 6-pack he had going on as well. Sam must have known I was looking hard core at him because she snapped her fingers in front of my face and my head snapped over to look at her. She was shaking her head and waving a finger at me and I smiled at her and went and took a seat at the breakfast bar. Watching sam make us both a huge bowl of cereal I grinned seeing she had my favorite brand lucky charms which is so sugary and unhealthy which is also one of the main reasons I liked it. Sugar was for sure my weakness and I had such a big sweet tooth that I could not resist anything thats sugary and looks delicious.
