Chapter 5: A Trip Through Her Memory

Sebastian sat next to Rose, ready to listen to her story. But she wasn't going to tell a story. Instead, she was going to show him. She tapped her finger once on his forehead and sent him to her mind while his body was in deep sleep. She knew that he needed some sleep so she might as well send him to sleep for a little bit.

Sebastian was in her head. A garden maze filled with roses. There were sounds of laughter and voices from the bubbles that floated past him.

Interesting, he thought and reached for a bubble. He watched the film on the bubble of an explosion that accrued which was different from a normal explosion. It was blue fire and the film ended with a little girl scream and everything was black. She wasn't dead, just knocked out.  The bubble decreased and Sebastian grabbed another. After looking at every bubble until the time Sebastian came in, he found out the story.

The explosion as radioactive which gave her these powers and she was a cat for a while until one day she woke up as a human and she was captured. By the one and only Earl Alois Trancy and his butler, Claude Faustus. They have done a lot of things to her. She was a servant, then a pet. Sexually and Tortureally. After he died she continued to find Ciel but she had more stumbles about the way. One woman took her in as her car form and went to a different city. The woman died of old age and so Rose continued her on her search.

Sebastian then realized that both the siblings were searching for each other at the same time, but she looked longer. She also had a bit of a doubt that she would ever find Ciel or any of her family, but she kept on going once she heard someone talking about him which gave her the strength and the determination to continue the search. She knew that she was close once she could smell something good but she wasn't the only thing smelling it. The same dogs that attacked her the same night smelled it too and attacked her, one scratched her that's when she ran and found the back of the manor. She was too frightened to turn back to a human and then Sebastian came to her rescue.

"Alright I get your story, you can let me out now." He said and then everything went black. Once he opened his eyes, he found himself tucked into his bed and Rose next to him looking down at him.

"I'm sorry I had to let you be in there for so long." She said and Sebastian sat up, noticing his jacket neatly folded on the foot of his bed along with his gloves and shoes. She only wanted him to be comfortable while his body was in deep sleep.

"Well, it would be too long of a story to tell so I don't blame you at all." He said and noticed that she was tired.

"Maybe you should rest, Miss Phantomhive. You have been traveling for so long and you did have that terrible fight with the mutts, I mean, dogs. And tomorrow, we will bring you to your brother." Sebastian said and Rose looked at him, her eyes glittering.

"Really?! Oh, I'm so excited, I can't even sleep now!" She said her excitement beaming from her smile.

"Well, you still have to. I'll look for something for you to sleep in and-"

"No no! It's fine!" She interrupted, placing a hand on his shoulder and turned into her cat form. Then she climbed onto Sebastian's lap, curling up into a ball and shut her eyes, falling asleep. Sebastian didn't even move, but he just smiled and petted her little head. The sound of her purring filled the room and Sebastian felt relaxed. He was glad to find her before his master would have given up the search when they were this close. Glad to heal her and-

Wait...

"I just cleaned a girl!" He said flushing.
