Break Up & Make Up

*Break Up*

You trusted Kurama not to cheat on you since you knew he wasn't the type to do so. You also knew that there were still some of his fan girls that were unsupportive of the relationship you two had and would try to make up rumours about you to try to get him to break up with you.

He never believed any of the rumours and the ones he was secretly unsure of he asked you about later and you clarified that the rumour was untrue.

When three bitches girls came up to Kurama one day stating how they saw you making out with a short boy with black hair and black clothes at the school gates, he didn't believe them either. Until after school when he saw you and Hiei talking and standing rather close to one another.

Kurama started having doubts about the rumour being untrue and, once Hiei had left, he confronted you about the matter. The two of you ended up having a fullblown argument about the matter, you being highly offended over the fact that he thought you had cheated on him with Hiei and him starting to believe the three girls he had heard the rumour from the more you two argued.

You'd finally had enough after five minutes of arguing and told him that if he felt he couldn't trust you enough to talk to another boy and if he trusted the three girls' words more than your own than maybe the two of you shouldn't be together.

Kurama was surprised at the sudden outburst and didn't have time to say anything else before you walked away, tears of hurt streaming down your face.

*Make Up*

You were really hurt that Kurama, the guy you had been in love with for so many years, would accuse you of such a thing. You ignored him at school and when he tried calling you and every rose you found in your locker went straight into the bin.

Kurama was disappointed in himself that he would even consider anything those girls said about you was the truth. He tried calling you and talking to you in person but you continuously ignored him and he saw how every rose you found was thrown away.

After two weeks, he decided to take a different yet familiar approach.

You opened the door of your home one day after hearing a knock to find a trail of rose petals leading from your doorstep to some place unknown. 

You decided to follow the petals to wherever they lead and along the way, you found neatly written letters carrying sweet compliments like 'You are beautiful' and 'Don't ever change your perfect self.' 

You realised how familiar all the letters and the trail of rose petals was and stopped momentarily, knowing that this was Kurama's doing.

You thought for a moment about whether you should continue.

No matter how mad you were at Kurama, you loved him too much to stay mad and allowed a small smile to grace your features as you continued to follow the trail.

The rose petals ended by a beautiful lake in the middle of the forest where Kurama first confessed to you and the writer of those kindly written letters stood beside the lake, this time with a bouquet of red roses in his hands.

When he saw you approach he smiled warmly at you and you forced yourself not to return it as you stood before him.

Kurama offered you the bouquet and apologised immensly for what he said to you as he nearly begged you to forgive him.

He felt relief wash over him as you accepted the flowers with a small smile and nodded at him to show you had forgiven him, before the two of you shared a warm hug.
