I woke up in a plain room, guessing from the surroundings I'm in one of the rooms at the Butterfly Estate. I heard a clipboard drop as I turned aside and saw Aoi with a surprised face

"My, my. Looking at your face I was out long wasn't I?" I told her as I put on my usual smile

"Ko- Kochou-sama!" she exclaimed as she hugged me tightly

"mind filling me up on what happened?"

"yes! But right after I finish these tests" she said as she picked up the clipboard and continued on with the tests "everything is slowly going back to normal" she said once she was done

"okay, now may you tell me what happened?"

"uh, this may seem a little bit too personal to ask but" she asked as she looked over the papers over and over again

"go on"

"when was your last period?" she asked, blushing a little bit at her question

"uh, well..." looking away from her I tried to remember when was the last time I had my period "I can't seem to remember. How long was I out, exactly?"

"about three months or so" she said as she took a seat beside me on the bed "it was a miracle that you survived... During the battle at the Infinity Fortress Kanao said that you got absorbed by an Upper Moon demon, but after the battle they found your body under some debris. Luckily enough, you were breathing."

"Aoi, why did you ask me about my period?" I asked her as I was still thinking about it "about it... I still can't remember"

"when I was checking your vital signs after you were brought here, something was off... And from time to time you were getting up to vomit but after it you got unconscious again. Kanao said that maybe your body was  getting rid of the wisteria poison that was left in your system." she said as she got up from the bed and was getting something underneath "uh, someone wanted to give you this once you woke up" she told me as she handed me a dark purple box

"that still doesn't answer my question, why were you asking about my period?" asking her again because the only thing I got close to an answer was the first thing she said

"do you remember having your period a few months the before the battle?" she asked, getting on the chair that was beside the bed

"to be honest, no"

"I have assumption... You may be..." she couldn't continue what she was saying but acted out what she was supposed to say. She made a movement that resembled a circle on her midriff and looked at me

"Aoi, you can't be serious" I joked as I went to touch my midriff, as to my surprise, I felt a small bump and looked at her with a questioning face

"see?" she said as she was getting ready to leave the room "is Tomioka-san the...?" she looked at me as she reached the doorknob

"what? Tomioka-san? Really, Aoi?"

"it's just that... You two seem to be more close" she said then left the room
