taehyung had held onto jeongguk's hand that was on his waist. he had stared into the other's eyes with neither delight and fear. jeongguk's arms letting go of taehyung. taehyung almost immediately placing his arms around his waist. wanting to feel what that feeling was.
he stared upon jeongguk as his ears lowered. just staring at jeongguk. each other's presence where practically everything to them. the comfortable silence had just made them feel ofcourse comfortable. leaning into each other slowly, a trance just in between both thier eyes.
the door having a knock. taehyung snapping back to reality as he had removed his arms. leaning against the wall as he had put the hood up from his hoodie to hide his ears, hiding his tail with his shorts as uncomfortable it was, he didn't want anyone to recognize him. looking up and seeing two men dresses in blue with little gold badges. taehyung staying quiet as he had gently swayed around humming innocently.
jeongguk talked with them and assured them everything was okay. the men nodded and gave taehyung a look to which taehyung just smiled, hesitantly. jeongguk soon closing the door and staring at taehyung. taehyung just staring back. it was like that for a few seconds, which felt like hours. they had a little akaward bubble in the middle of them as they both felt like thier hearts had just stopped beating. only them in the world. taehyung creeping up a smile as he ran towards jeongguk. his small arms engulfing the taller male.
he didn't care if jeongguk hadn't hugged back, he just wanted to show jeongguk how thankful he was. taehyung looked down as he randomly had tears rush down his soft blue eyes that held the whole ocean in them. mumbling a quiet thank you. it was very unreal with what taehyung was feeling. his heart beating out his chest, tears falling from his eyes. but most importantly, the warmth and protection the little guy needed.
he closed his eyes and cuddled up more into jeongguk. he felt long, muscular arms wrap around his small pettie waist. taehyung's ears had turned a tint of red while his cheeks had turned a light tint of soft pink.
"thank you for understanding." taehyung mumbled as he smiled. jeongguk's head burying itself into taehyung's head. both of them having a soft smile on both thier faces of each other's company. just with each other.
