imagine decorating a christmas tree with ateez!!!!!!!

y'all had gotten a big one since each of u dishes out some money to be able to afford the prettiest most perfect sized one

it would honestly be such a mess trying to decorate it. all of them would probably fight to place the star on the tree (including you bc the star is the best part!). so to make things fair, y'all decide to play games to decide on the final reigning champion. and honestly the games took longer than the time y'all spent on the tree....

mingi would probably break a few baubles unintentionally (except once, when he saw a completely transparent one and wanted to test its strength compared to another normal bauble). yunho had a job of decorating the top part of tree since he was basically the only one who could reach it (he had also used this in his defence stance when y'all were choosing who to place the star). san would find a candy cane ornament and feel the strongest urge to eat it cause it looked just so real..... he'd bite into it, ignoring the worries of everyone there, then he'd immediately spit it out.

jongho would be on the sidelines controlling the christmas playlist and singing at the top of his lungs, joined by wooyoung. their usually amazing singing was now replaced by goofing around over-the-top high notes and vibratos. yeosang, on the other hand, would've gotten distracted by all the pretty sparkly tinsel and drape it over himself. everytime you looked over at him, he had another tinsel round his neck and along the way, he somehow added sunglasses to his outfit.

the decorations would also be fairly simple cause 1. everyone's a little busy to spend too much time and effort on the tree and 2. nobody could be bothered to get super extravagant ornaments but the tree still looked pretty in the end!!!!

also!!!!! at the suggestion of hongjoong, y'all would make a custom ornament each to put on the tree. again, it probably took more time to paint the ornaments than to actually decorate the tree but it was a fun and relaxing activity! especially when u looked up from painting ur own bulb to see their very concentrated faces and them laughing at each others' designs and being awed at others.

and at the end of everything, y'all switch on the lights and look at the final product with just the biggest smiles on your face. finishing off with a picture in front of the tree, y'all move on to some delicious snacks instead after the strenuous effort! but before you guys could leave, seonghwa reminded you all that y'all needed to clean up the remaining trash and ornaments on the floor.
