A Monster in Disguise

152 walks down the path and into the forest, he looks at a few branches and admires nature.


Are there more like these somewhere on this Planet?

He looks at a bird soaring through the trees, it looks so peaceful and so happy.

Will that ever be me?

"Huh, looks like I better get going then, plus the stench in this forest is driving me crazy." 152 stops, he hears something, he waits a few minutes but just shrugs it off and walks back to the Boarding House. He hears Zorome voice but thinks nothing of it, until he was hit by a ball, he suspected Zorome threw it. 

"Why you, What the hell's your problem?" 152 yells. Zorome smirks.

"Well, look who's talking now! I don't believe you, you out of all people, would be able to ride a Franxx?" Zorome laughs "I-I mean, hehe, you out of all people?! You are a Medic, all you do is repair and repair until you die, we actually fight for humanity-" 

"With that attitude, your dreams of becoming an adult will be shattered..." With those words Zorome flinched "How would Papa, our 'savior' as you call him, be willing to accept someone as selfish and cocky as you? That would just taint and smear the adults reputations. But I'm guessing no one knows what adults are really meant for, do you?" 152 says harshly, everyone, without responding, shakes their head. "They are there just for a moral boost, they are dead weight, only serving to enlighten parasites that will soon die on the battlefield for some selfish cause!" 152 exclaims.

"Y-You're wrong, that's not true-" Zorome says, with a tear in his eye. "Think about it, we were born to fight and die, and there is no proof saying i'm wrong.." 152 walks back into the forest. 

"Hey coward, where the hell are you going! Don't you walk away from me!" Zorome exclaims.

152 feels a sudden urge, an urge of hatred, pain, suffering and a urge to kill. He doesn't feel like himself. 


What's happening to me? 

He feels his teeth change and he skimmers over them with his hands and realize how sharp they are, then he hears Zorome get closer, without hesitation 152 turns around and punches Zorome in his face, Zorome did not expect any physical confrontation from 152, because of that. He fell onto the ground.  

"Get the hell away from me! Leave me be for once!" 152 yells at Zorome, Zorome who has a look of fear in his eye runs back to the others. "H-His eyes, he-he has fangs." Zorome stutters. 

Weaklings, Sub humans, Inferiors.. You are so weak Zorome, but you could be so strong, only if you have the power and respect, but you lack both of those, and you will never be as strong as Zero Two or me. 

152 walks deep into the forest, he is confused and lost about what he just did.. 

So I am a monster? I'll probably be sent to the Garden now, and never be seen again. I have to see her again, I want to have no regrets..

152 walks to one of the Elevators that lead toward the Command Center and enter it, he puts in the code for the Command Center. Once the Elevator has arrived he runs down the hallway into the Command Center. The door opens and he sees Nana and Hachi. They both look at him like they know why he's here.

"Where is she? Where's Zero Two?" 152 asks "Who gave you permission to be up here?" Hachi asks. "I need to know where she is, please, just tell me god damn it. I don't have anytime to answer your questions." 152 says harshly "I'd rethink what you said and who you said it to" Hachi says in a calm voice. 

God damn it, they won't listen to me right now, I'll just have to go back to Boarding House and find her.

152 leaves the Command Center and heads toward the elevator, he re-enters the elevator and puts in the code for the Boarding Room, once the Elevator has arrived he rushes towards the front doors of the Boarding Room, and open them without hesitation. No one is there to greet 152 so he walks towards where 152's room is, although he notices it's guarded by Goro and Futoshi. 

"Let me in, guys." 152 says in a stern tone.

She's in there, I know she is.

"Sorry 152, we can't do that, what he can do is sit down and we can all discuss what happened. We don't want to fight you, so please, don't make this harder than it already is." Goro replies. "Then what? You'll call me an outcast again and then shun me? Treat me like a monster? No thanks. Just let me see Zero Two, please.." 152 Trembling at the last sentence. "We can't we aren't allowed to, sorry 152" Futoshi says while trying to reach for 152's shoulder. But 152 shrugs it away. "W-Why? I just want to talk to her, is that so wrong?" 152's voice starts to tremble and a tear forms in his eye.. "F-Forget it, I'm done trying to talk to you two.." 152's demeanor changes to sad to harsh in a split second, he is walking towards the door, he shoves both of them out of the way, and turns the knob to the door. But when it opens, it reveals no one inside, no one at all.

No, she's not in here. She was never in here, I wasted my time for nothing then, this was all in vain. Just like every other time, and now, I'll have to pay the price. But there is another option... Talking.

"Fine, I'll talk to you guys." 152 says to the emerging Squad 13 members. "Then you will lead me to Zero Two.."  152 looks at Ichigo, she nods in agreement..
