CHAPTER 2
"Valeria hurry up with your bags! Niall will be here any minute to pick you up!" My mum shouted to me. It was official. I was moving to London. I had begged my mum and dad to let me go and eventually they gave in and told me yes.
"I'm coming mummy!"
"Do you have you're credit card?" She asked with a look of worry sketched on her face.
"Of course! And don't worry, I'll only us it i an emergency," I answered her reassuringly. I hated when my parents worried about me. Honestly, I'm pretty strong. I'm very mature for my age so everything will be fine, and my parents know that.
"Ate you sure you want to do this, sweetie?" My dad asked me. He knew my answer, but I guess he felt obligated to ask me anyways.
"Of course daddy! It will be fine! I have Nialler to take care of me."
My parents loved Niall almost as much as I do. He had been the son they never had. They knew I would be completely safe with him.
"Alright, well make sure you call us every once n a while so we know your safe," my father said.
"Of course dad! I promised will."
Then, the doorbell rang. I ran to open the door, and there was Niall. He wore a Jack Willis t-shirt, khakis, and white Supras.
"Ready to go babe?" He asked with a smile that showed his braces. I hated those braces. I mean, he looked good in them, but Niall didn't need them. His teeth were perfect the way they were. It made me angry that One Direction's management made all of his decisions for him now.
"Yeah, just let me get my stuff." I'm not going to lie, I was pretty excited. Before I start college in the fall, I will get an entire summer to spend with Niall and the boy's. I had met Louis, Harry, Zayn, and Liam once, but it was brief. I doubt they even remember my name.
I gave my parents hugs goodbye and loaded up my stuff. Well, some of it. Niall carried most.
"We are going to have soooo much fun Larry." I smiled at his use of my old nickname he gave me in second grade.
"I know! I can't wait to see the boys again! Do they even remember my name?" I asked.
"Of course they do! Who could forget the name of a gorgeous girl like you?" He said as if I had said something completely outrageous.
"Yeah, okay Nialler.." I muttered under my breathe.
"I'm serious, Val. You are beautiful. Inside, and out. Anyone who doesn't see that is blind," he said in a serious tone. It was cute when he acted super serious.
"Not really Niall. I don't know why you even bother trying to make me feel better. I'm not this perfect girl you make me out to be." I only saw myself as average. Not pretty, but not ugly. Niall was the only that ever called me beautiful, so it can be difficult to believe him sometimes.
"I know your not perfect Val. No one is. But you're pretty damn close," he said sounding annoyed.
"Okay, whatever," I said trying to end the conversation.
We sat in silence for a couple of minutes. It was quite awkward.
"Soo Niall, are you seeing anyone special?" I asked wiggling my eyebrows.
He laughed. "No, I'm not. How about you?"
"You already know the answer to that.." My boyfriend, Derek, broke up with me a couple of months ago after I found out he was an drug addict. I told him he needed to stop. I was even willing to help him. But, no. He just laughed at me.
