CHAPTER 6
I ran through the halls of the building, trying to find Niall.
"Niall? Niall?!" I yelled.
I got on the lift and rode down to the lobby. I walked to the front desk. "Have you seen a blonde boy anywhere?" I asked the desk attendant.
"Nope. Sorry my dear," he said. I ran out of the building and tears started running down my cheeks.
"NIALL!" I yelled once more. I found a bench near by and sat on it. I pulled out my phone and dialed his number. It went to voicemail. I was scared. When Niall leaves he usually goes and does something stupid. I pulled my knees to my chest and sobbed. How could I have hurt the person that means the most to me?
I sat like that for about 20 minutes, but then I heard a guitar playing. I looked around and saw no one. It sounded like it was coming from the roof of the building.
I ran into the lobby again and pressed the glowing up arrow for the lift. When I got in, I pressed "R", which stands for roof. when I reached the top the doors opened wide. the guitar was louder and I could hear an all too familiar voice start singing.
Your hand fits in mine
Like it's made just for me
But bear this in mind
It was meant to be
And I'm joining up the dots
With the freckles on your cheeks
And it all makes sense to me
I know you've never loved
The crinkles by your eyes when you smile
You've never loved
Your stomach or your thighs
The dimples in your back at the bottom of your spine
But I'll love them endlessly
I won't let these little things slip out of my mouth
But if
It's you
Oh it's you,
They add up to
I'm in love with you,
And all these little things
You can't go to bed,
Without a cup of tea,
And maybe that's the reason why you talk in your sleep
And all those conversations
Are the secrets that I keep
Though it makes no sense to me
I know you've never loved the sound of your voice on tape
You never want to know how much you weigh
You still have to squeeze into your jeans
But you're perfect to me
I won't let these little things slip out of my mouth
But if it's true,
It's you,
It's you,
They add up to
I'm in love with you,
And all these little things
I sat there and watched him. I saw tears fall from his face onto his guitar.
