"It's always been about the face value and he's getting tired of it."

"Fucking nerds!"

Kirishima blinked at Bakugo not even fazed about what's making the blonde slytherin pissed, continuing to eat his food.

They're currently eating at the Grand hall, the little feet scampering from the dwarf elves can be heard around. It fills the now chaotic place crowded with students while they serve them their preferred food. Which in Kirishima's case, came with a cinnamon roll which goes along well with the bacon and egg he choose as his meal for that day.

A soft food for a manly heart indeed.

The red hair gryffindor hummed in content, satisfied to finally digest something when he's been starving for hours. Stuck to a seemingly endless lecturing from one of their teachers for his muggle studies - or the ones without the ability to wield magic. Apparently they make up 40% of their population which is way lesser than before.

It has always been an interesting subject to the hardening wizard. Especially when they have been decreasing fast for the past years. But definitely not something that he wants to hear for 3 straight hours. That's why he felt so happy once their break started - only to be ruined when suddenly the slytherin beside him groaned, looked at him then cursed all of the sudden.

Looking at his blonde friend get upset is like looking at an angry pomeranian dog that always acts bigger than its size. Except instead of just barking it also bites.

It's endearing but still gets annoying sometimes.

He dejectedly dropped his spoon to look at his friend, the sound it made effectively got the explosive teen's attention.

"Dude, what is it now?"

"Fucking Deku." The blonde slytherin replied hissing at the direction of the green haired gryffindor just a few seats away from them. Then glaring at him as if he should be the one to blame since he dragged Bakugo to that location to eat. Seeing that the slytherins can be found on the opposite table instead.

In Kirishima's defense, he's too hungry to even notice something as trivial at that.

Food before an angry friend is Kirishima's code.

Kirishima looked at Midoriya who's just minding his own business with Iida and Uraraka beside him. The two gryffindors and ravenclaw are together as usual.

They're pretty famous as a group, Midoriya the gryffindor known for being a literal sunshine but with bravery unmatched. Uraraka, another gryffindor with a sweet attitude yet wouldn't hold back to challenges and Iida, the ravenclaw prefect known for his technical sharpness and leadership.

They always stick around with each other so it's not surprising to see them again even if they're divided into two houses. Not that it isn't unusual, their friend group being a great example.

The four houses are more accepting now in comparison to the past but certain rivalries, discrimination and fights still happen every now and then.

Like old habits, this kind of stuff are difficult to stop.

Besides, red and blue really match well.

"Let's just eat dude." He tried but seeing how close they are he silently groaned, already mentally scolding himself for not noticing, hoping that the slytherin will just ignore it. Although he thinks that will be impossible considering the blonde slytherin already looks upset that if he happened to be in a movie, a fire effect will already be surrounding him.
