MERRY CHRISTMAS YALL!!
I hope all of y'all are having a great holidays and away from school. Those who don't celebrate Christmas, then, happy gift giving related holiday!! Here's a little Christmas special!

You woke up with the smell of pancakes in the air. Opening your eyes, Hawks was of course, not beside you.

*did that bird plan something?* you asked yourself in your head as you swung your legs off the bed.

You herd humming coming from the kitchen along with the sound of sizzling bacon on the pan. Man, everything smelt good.

Peeking your head around the corner. Hawks was shirtless while finishing up breakfast. You felt a little bit of heat rising to your cheeks as you continued to get lost at the sight of your very boyfriends well toned body.

Hawks turned his head and spotted you in the kitchen door frame off the corner of his eye. Smirking, he took the bacon off the pan, put the pan in the sink, and turned his way towards you.

You snapped out of it once you noticed he was walking to you. For some reason you couldn't move, your legs were stuck in place like his eyes were putting a curse on you.

Stopping right in front of you, Hawks put his arms around your back and pulled you a little closer. With a cheeky grin on his face, he whispered,

"Look up"

At that moment, you looked up and spotted a small mistletoe hanging above both you and Hawks. You couldn't help but let more warmth come to your face as you smiled lightly at his silliness.

"What are we, 15?" You asked with a little bit of laugh in your sentence.

"Hmm.. maybe" He hummed, bringing you closer to him.

His lips pressed yours and you happily returned. Your arms made their way around his neck as you deepened it. Hawks slipped his hands under the hem of your shirt and traced small circles on your waist. You never wanted this moment to end as you lived in it.

Soon enough you both let go for air. Hawks kissed your forehead one last time before pulling you with him to the kitchen.

"I made breakfast. Just the way mom always did" He smiled as you made your way to the bar table you had on the other side of the kitchen counter.

Hawks got you a plate and filled a glass with (favorite drink) and placed it in front of you. You dug in and he was right, it did taste just the way Akiara use to make it.

He sat beside you as you both ate. It was lovely and quiet until you herd a certain tune hum from Hawk's lips.

"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine"

You smiled and joined in.

"You make me hap-py, when skies are grey~"

"You'll never know dear~, how much I love you" He sang.

"Please don't take~ my sun-shine away~" you both finished. Hawks decided that it would be your song to him. You are his sunshine and he wouldn't give you up for the world. With his life he promised to protect you with everything he had.

Hawks got up and went into the other room. You questioned why but he came back moments later with a small gift. Your eyes went wide for a second. He gave it to you with a whole hearted smile and you opened it up.
