Hey guys, it's EternalLuv4ever here wishing you all a Merry Christmas!! But that doesn't mean the winter holidays don't have to end yet. And since I was preoccupied baking treats for the family, I've split this halftime special into parts, so sorry if it comes up short or lengthy. I should have it finished by the end of the month...hopefully. LOL! Anyway, today Kalina gets more surprises than she could handle. But can she get through it? You'll be seeing a lot of the guy's POV. It's game time, everyone!

>>>>>>>Kalina's POV>>>>>>>

"Seriously, guys, where are we going?"

"We're almost there, Kalina."

"You're gonna love this."

I huff in my seat, making my cousin chuckle. He was sitting next to me in the Strika bus. To where? They won't tell me. All I know is that we're driving outside the city.

"And how come I had to leave Rai behind with Spenza?"

"They wouldn't let anyone else but de Super League players and employees in," Rasta explains.

"Speaking of which..." Shakes points out the window. What I saw made me gasp in shock, but excitement.

"No way—is that...?"

"Uh-huh." The bus drives passed the gate leading into none other than the Super League's exclusive facility where the awards and other Super League ceremonies were held.

"Wow..."

"We'll be helping set up this year's Christmas party."

"You guys have a Christmas Party this early in December?"

"Yup," Cool-Joe nods, "each team pitches in and contributes to something."

"Which is why," Coach warns, "we need to make sure everything is in order and help out as much as we can."

"Sounds fair," I thought, "but are you guys gonna be civil with the other teams?"

"We'll be fine, cuz'. There hasn't been a hitch yet."

"Where have I heard that," I deadpan.

After the bus stops, we follow Coach up the front entrance.

Creak~

Inside, I see two chandeliers and a soccer architecture in the middle of the foyer room. Beyond that was the main ceremony hall that had a second floor with balcony seats, but with the tables absent. What filled the room was the players themselves; some I'm familiar and unfamiliar, and some that weren't present.

"Kalina...come with me." Coach beckons me and I follow.

We make our way through to meet three coaches.

"Hello, gentlemen."

"Ah, good morning, Coach. And Kalina...good to see you again."

"Hi Mr. Golare."

I then look to the redhead dressed in sharp clothes and the African man in spectacles/sweater vest.

"This is Coach Alfredo Del Aqua of team Hydra."

"Pleasure to meet you, miss Kalina."

"Nice to meet you, sir. And Coach Black from Orion, right? You also represent France."

"But of course," he smiles, "and we've heard of your reputation as well."

"It's a shame Coach snatched you up before we did." Coach and I chuckle in response, which relaxes me a little.
