[JJ point of view]

My life hasn't always been perfect. I grew up in a small town in rural Pennsylvania. I graduated high school valedictorian and was captain of our soccer team. I got a full ride scholarship for soccer at Pitt. My sister committed suicide. Five years ago I was kidnapped and tortured. Do I seem perfect on the outside? Maybe. Am I perfect on the inside? No.

I work at the FBI in the Behavioral Analysis Unit. My teammates are SSA Team Leader Aaron Hotchner, SSA David Rossi, SSA Derek Morgan, Dr. Spencer Reid, SSA Emily Prentiss, and Technical Analyst Penelope Garcia. Although I am a trained field agent, my job is primarily Media Liaison. Basically, I work with the local police, media, and contact families. Telling the next of kin that their loved one has died is by far the hardest part of this job, especially since the birth of my twins, Whiteny Anne Jareau-Reid and Montgomery Oliver Jareau-Reid. My husband is my coworker Spencer Reid. Some people would say that dating a coworker is wrong, or hard, or just awkward. But for us, I think everyone on the team knew about us... I mean, they're profilers. They could spot it a mile away. We got married in 2012.

Whitney and Mont are the highlight of my life. They lit up my life, our life, from the moment they were born. They were born in May 2016 and are three years old now. Well, three and a half. Whitney is a sweet little kid. She loves preschool, coloring, and cuddling with me and Spence. Mont loves playing outside. He also loves when Spence reads to him.

Me and Spence bought a cozy two story house just outside of Quantico. Whitney and Mont have their own rooms. Whitney's is painted a pale pink with white furniture. There are flowers and butterflies painted on the wall. Mont's room is a light, but deep blue. His furniture is also white. There are stars on the ceiling and a train wallpaper border on the walls. Each of their rooms have a toy chest filled with their favorite toys, dolls and dump trucks respectively. We have a one year old golden retriever named Cooper. The kids love to climb on him, and Cooper is very protective of them.

This is my life. This is my story.
