[Hotch point of view]

After sending Reid, JJ, and Lindsey back to Quantico and in protective custody, we continued working in Seattle. We had to look back into everything, leaving no stone unturned. James Merlin knew Tivon Askari before he renamed himself Michael Jerrik. He also, no doubt, met the man being passed off as Tivon Askari then. I pulled out my phone and called Garcia.

"Yes, Sir?"

"Do you have anything? Do you know who is posing as Tivon Askari?"

"Sir, you must have super powers or something, I was just going to call you. I don't know who this new Tivon Askari really is, but I do know what Michael Jerrik was planning."

"Get to the point, Garcia."

"Right, Sir, of course. Are you alone?"

"I have Prentiss with me, but we are alone. Why?"

"The police captain, Raymond Hill, was working with Jerrik. He came to Seattle to work with Hill. Jerrik and Hill would commit a series of crimes and Hill would invite us onto the case."

"Why, Garcia?" Emily asked.

"JJ. He wanted JJ. They knew if we came, JJ would come too."

"They're targeting her," I finished.

"Not just her, Sir. All of them."

"We have to tell them," Emily said.

As much as I wanted too, I said "no. We can't. It's against protocol. We can't contact them." I turned my attention back to the phone. "Do you know what they're planning, Garcia?"

"Not exactly. It's all written in some kind of code, their own secret code. I know it's bad, but I need Reid to crack it, but..."

"We can't," Prentiss finished with a sigh. "Is Lindsey safe though?"

"It seems like it. But JJ, Reid, and the kids are not. Hill is going to do something."

"JJ and Reid are good agents, and they have 3 more agents at their safe house. They will be okay."

"Garcia," Emily started, "Do you have enough on Hill for us to arrest him?"

"Absolutely."

"Thanks," I said, hanging up. I looked over to Rossi and Morgan who were outside looking over more files.

"Where's Hill?" Prentiss asked.

"I don't know." I scanned across the desks outside of the conference room and he wasn't out there. I hoped he was in his office and not out for revenge.

"Should we tell them?" Emily asked, motioning towards Morgan and Rossi.

"No, not out there. It could tip Hill off. Emily, I need you to go and get them in here. Make it look like you need help. I'm going to go to his office and arrest him." As I finished speaking, she nodded and walked out of the room. I waited for Morgan and Rossi to come in before I left. I confidently walked across the precinct and opened Captain Hill's door.

But, he wasn't there.

I went to one of the other officers and asked, "Excuse me, have you seen the Captain? I have a question for him about the victims."

"I'm sorry, Agent, but I haven't seen him since yesterday afternoon."

"Thank you."

"Hotch, what's going on?" Morgan asked.

"Captain Hill is on his way to kill JJ and Reid."
