The mystery of Edward Nygma

My POV

"Really y/n where did you put those files?" I mutter to myself upset.

It's 9 in the evening and I should have been home two hours ago. But I lost some important case files and can't remember what I did with them. I have no idea where I left them. All week I've been distracted, why? Because of a certain tall nerdy forensic scientist.

Edward Nygma, such a sweet, smart and funny guy. He's not like all the other guys working at the G.C.P.D oh no, Edward is such a gentle men he is always so sweet unlike all the officers that like to look at me like a piece of meat, or make some gross remake when they think I can't hear it. But Edward always acts so polite, just giving a compliment or asking a riddle.

And I'd love to know more about him!

But there's one problem with that. Ed seems to like me as a friend. Plus finally after listening to Ed talk about Miss Kringle for so long she finally agreed to go out with him to my dismay. I've seen the way he looks at her and it kind of hurts.

"Now Edward and Miss Kringle are together and you have to deal with it"

Miss Kringle didn't even like Ed in the slightest. Always making ugly and rude faces when he walked in the room or saying something highly offensive to him. First off Miss Kringle started dating officer Tom Doherty who was a Neanderthal to begin with, always flirting with every women that walked through the door, including me at one point till I threatened to tell Miss Kringle about what he was doing. That idiot abused her and Miss Kringle thought no one noticed, but Edward and I did. Naturally Edward was upset and wanted to help her but when he tried she told him it was none of his business and to stay out of it.

Edward looked broken. I'm just wanted to hold him and tell him everything was alright. I hoped Edward would realize Miss Kringle wasn't worthy of him but sadly he didn't.
