AN: Hello! I hope everyone has had a great holiday season, so far! No matter what you celebrate or how, I hope you all enjoyed it!

Just a quick note – Harry is crazy OOC, but I hope you all enjoy this one, regardless. Thanks so much for reading!

"Have you seen Harry, 'Mione?" Ginny asked her best friend.

"No, I haven't, I'm sorry." Hermione said with a sad smile, "Maybe ask Ron?"

"Yeah, I'll go find him," Ginny said absentmindedly.

"You know where to find him, right?" Hermione asked, to which Ginny nodded and pointed towards the buffet.

As Ginny made her way over to the buffet, she passed a few happy couples, fawning over each other and smiling happily.

Ginny sighed to herself, wishing she could find a way to fix whatever had gone wrong with her own relationship. Harry had been acting strangely lately, going to work earlier and getting home later, avoiding her at all costs, snapping at her when she made small mistakes, and complaining about nearly everything she did. She tried talking to him several times, but he shut down each time, pushing her further and further away from him as the bickering went on. She'd even been sleeping on the couch for the last few days, desperately trying to avoid doing something to upset Harry. They hadn't spoken in days, either. Ginny felt so fragile, as if one more argument would send her into a full on mental breakdown.

She couldn't take it anymore, though, she had to talk to him. He was her husband after all. They had to work all this out, whatever it was. She was tired of walking on eggshells around Harry, she was tired of crying, she was tired of sleeping on the couch. She'd had enough. She needed to know what happened. Maybe if she found him and confronted him while they were at the party, he couldn't run off and hide... maybe he wouldn't yell at her, either. She figured if she caught him amongst a crowd, he'd have no choice but to talk to her civilly.

This evening they went to Hermione's annual Christmas party, though they apparated separately. Harry had successfully avoided her so far, but Ginny had scoured more than half of the room so far during her search for him, she was bound to find him soon.

She finally found her brother at the buffet and asked him about Harry. He hadn't seen him either, but he offered to search with her.

They moved about the rest of the room, weaving in and out of groups of friends and family and happy looking couples, looking for Harry's messy jet black hair among the crowd.

They'd had no luck and decided to regroup with Hermione after they'd covered the entirety of the room.

"We still can't find him. I don't know what to do." Ginny said, leaning against a wall and falling to the ground, slumped over, holding her head in her hands, and crying quietly.

"Gin, it's alright..." Hermione said as she and Ron sat on either side of Ginny and consoled her.

"You know what? I'm pissed at Harry. What does he think he's doing? If he doesn't fix things I'm going to-" Ron stopped his ranting when Ginny started sobbing.

"Oh, what am I going to do? I don't think he loves me anymore."

"Hey, Ginny, it's going to be alright. I promise. Is there anything we can do to help?" Hermione cooed soothingly.

Ginny wiped the tears from her face before standing up and smoothing down her gown, "Will you help me look for him again?"

Hermione smiled at her best friend and Ron nodded his head, "Sure. We should check outside." Hermione suggested.

The trio weaved their way through the crowd out to the front lawn, though Ginny didn't think he'd really be out there standing around in the cold. She was sorely mistaken.

Harry and Cho Chang were locked in a tight embrace, sitting on the front steps and kissing as the snow fell down on them.

Ginny burst into tears again and dashed inside, slamming the front door shut, not caring who saw her.

She didn't get very far, as she ran into something solid and fell to the floor.

Two strong arms pulled her up, and a familiar voice asked, "Are you alright?"

Ginny shook her head before looking up at Draco Malfoy, whom she expected to look rather cold and stoic, but he actually seemed rather concerned. "What's wrong? You can tell me."

Ginny wasn't sure why she felt like opening up to him, why she felt like venting to someone she'd never really gotten to know, but here she was, ready to pour her heart out to him.

Just as she opened her mouth to explain what she'd just seen, the door flung open.

"Ginny!" Harry shouted, Ron and Hermione trying to hold him back as he approached Ginny with a menacing look in his eyes, Cho right behind him.

"It's Potter isn't it?" Draco whispered so only Ginny could hear him.

She nodded and looked up at him. Now he was glowering at Harry with narrowed eyes, a vein popping out of his neck.

Suddenly she could smell Draco's cologne; he was leaning in close to her. Ginny's heart started pounding in her chest, "What are you doing?" She whispered to him.

"Just trust me." He muttered, staring at her lips before looking into her golden brown eyes.

With that, he kissed her, pressing his lips against hers before cupping her face with one of his hands and brushing at her gown before placing his other hand at the small of her back.

Ginny's eyes widened before they fluttered close as she leaned into him, kissing him back and tugging at the hair at the base of his neck.

For a moment she forgot about what was wrong with her life. She forgot about Harry.

That was until someone started pulling her away from Draco. Her eyes opened abruptly and she turned to see who was dragging her away. Of course it was Harry, she thought to herself. He looked absolutely furious.

"What the hell are you doing?" He shouted at her.

"Me? What were you doing with her?" Ginny said, pointing at Cho.

"That's none of your business!" Harry fired back.

"I'm done with you, Harry." Ginny threatened, her voice shaking.

"Fine! I was sick of you anyways. You're nothing but a-"

Harry was quickly interrupted as Draco stepped between him and Ginny, "Just leave, Potter. No one wants you here."

Harry, clearly intimidated, took a few steps backwards before grabbing Cho's hand and leading her out the door haughtily and slamming it shut behind them.

Ginny turned to look at Draco before asking, "What was that?"

Draco smirked and pointed up at the ceiling, where a fresh bundle of mistletoe was hanging, before he leaned in close to Ginny again, "We should go out sometime, to take your mind off Potter. Owl me."

With that, Draco left to go and get a drink, leaving Ginny, Ron, and Hermione staring at each other in shock, while Ginny's face and ears went red as she smoothed her gown.
