Desperation

Chapter 4

Amelia's POV

Its my second week here at King's college and I must say that it's everything I have always dreamt of. I'm really not sure of what I want to major in so I'm just taking courses that I think I may be interested in, after all isn't that what college is for? to discover ones self and thankfully my parents aren't giving me a hard time about it. Well... at least my dad isn't.

Looking back six years ago, the thought of college frightened me cause it meant I would be away from my dad but now I realize that there was nothing to be afraid about really. I have also grown very fond of my roommate Skylar and her friends which are technically now my friends now. Jaden(Skylar's boyfriend) ,Ava and Lizzy and we had some classes together so it's easy to hang out.

I close my notes with sleepy eyes. I have a huge Physics test tomorrow and I feel very prepared for it, then again its physics you can never be truly be fully ready but i'm good. I've been reading for the past 5 hours , I deserve a break. I pick up my phone to check the time. 12:30. I can still catch up on some sleep. I walk over to my bed and glance to my roommate sleeping peacefully on her bed and jump into mine

I felt something poking my back under the sheets so struggle a little and find one of Skylar's markers. How'd that get there? I turn over to check my alarm clock; 3:00. Thank goodness I still have hours of sleep left. I notice a small figure in the dark beside Sky's bed. It looked like it was bent over on it's knee. My heartbeat begins to increase. It's way too early for this nonsense...

What if it's a witch or a serial killer? WHAT?!?

It was at that moment I notice the long red hair. I hold my chest. This sleep must be something else... I'll ask her what that was about tomorrow.
