Marlee POV
"But we're moving too"
That statement right there was enough to dampen my mood. I don't give a fuck if they move here because once I turn eighteen I'm getting the fuck away from these two.
"Fine. But I'm living here". I tried to bargain.
"No. We are going to go back to New York until we find a house and then we'll move back here". James planned.
"Nah, you might try to get me to New York and back out. I don't trust y'all. I will stay here and y'all can go back to New York and sort stuff out. I can transfer to an online school until you come back and then I can go to school with Angel. Or you can let Mom enroll me next week". I gave them multiple options to do this right.
They both looked at each other as if to decide quietly without the rest of us hearing what they were talking about. Match made in hell.
"Fine. We will go back tonight and come back at the end of the week. Jackie, we would appreciate it if you see to getting her enrolled". Devita stood up.
"Of course". Mom nodded.
They went for the door without another word.
For a minute, the three of us just sat there in happy silence. All this arguing was finally over and I was going to stay with my actual Mom and sister.
"This is gonna be too lit!". Angel squealed tackling me in a hug.
"Angel get off me". I mumbled as her body was suffocating me.
"No! We're gonna be together forever!". She sang still on top of me.
She finally got off of me and I went over to Aunt Jackie, she was smiling wide.
"Thank you so much". I hugged her.
She held me tight.
"I am going to give you as much as you need. I love you, Marlee". She replied.
Angel joined in the hug and we stayed there for a minute.

After the group hug, Aunt Jackie explained that we would move so I could have my own room. I didn't mind sharing a room with Angel, but she wanted us to be comfortable.
"So I'll be watching for some for sale signs and some stuff online. But I'm going to work because we do need money for the house". She went into her room and got ready for work.
"Yo I can't believe I'm staying and going to school with yo ass". I pinched her cheek.
"Ouch! Ugh, you already being an annoying little sister". She rubbed her cheek with a smirk.
"It's my job". I winked.
"So you gonna tell Reed you staying?". She wiggled her eyebrows up and down.
"Yeah. I might go over there tonight". I smirked.
"OHHHHHH she ain't in Florida for one week and sis already plotting".
I rolled my eyes and decided to call Reed.
"Hey boo what you doing tonight?". I asked as soon as he picked up the phone.
"Nun, I'm probably gon chill at the crib". He answered sounded like he was sleeping.
"Ok, can I come over?".
"You ain't never gotta ask no crazy shit like that. Hell yeah, you can come over.". He answered making me blush.
"Ok, I'mma pull up on you at eight. I got a surprise for you too".
