"Command, come in this is Captain Lionel Cyrus of Team Luna, do you read us?" The air rang with more radio static. "I repeat, command, this is -"

"Give it a rest dude" Lionel tore his eyes from the radio, meeting Stallion's. "We've been stuck in this junkyard for around an hour. I'm sure they've already sent a search party or something."

"Yeah, but what if they haven't?" Lionel went back to fiddling with the radio. "It's gotta be the antennae or something," he sighed.

"Suit yourself. I'm gonna go check in on Ellie". Stallion walked away. Lionel rolled his eyes and opened up the radio interface.

"Hey, Sparks, can you come in here?!" Sparks walked in, chewing a sandwich.

"Yeah Lio?"

"The radio isn't working."

"No shit, you broke it." he laughed, continuing to eat his sandwich.

"Oh because your mouth is just what I need right now. Just come here and help please!" Sparks shrugged and knelt beside him.

After what seemed like hours, Lionel gave up, leaving Sparks to attempt fixing the radio. He walked back to the rear of the ship, finding Stallion and Ellie sitting and talking together.

"So where'd you say Cassandra was staying?" asked Stallion.

"She's just staying with the Henderson's. We couldn't really find a nanny in time, so they offered."

"Really? The Hendersons. Terry Henderson? Guy who dropped his kid way back when?"

"Oh shut up you." Ellie retorted. Lionel walked in, hand behind his neck. "Hey hon." She gave him a kiss on the cheek as he sat next to her. "Any luck with the radio?" She took his hand and placed it in her lap.

"Not at all. How you holding up?"

"I miss Cass." She put her head on his shoulder. "She's probably feeling so alone right now."

"What're you talking about? She's got good ol Terry to play with." Chimed Stallion. "She's probably having loads of fun, being dropped as he-"

"Yes, because that's reassuring." snapped Lionel. "Me too." he whispered to Ellie, kissing her head. "But yknow what?"

"Hm?" she asked.

"When we get back from this mission, Command says we're allowed to take a break for a while. Where I, will treat you like a queen."

"Yeah, because that'll last long." She sighed

"You guys are getting breaks? Fuck youuuu." said Stallion.

"Family benefits, bud." chuckled Lionel, "And you said marriage was a bad idea."

"No" started Stallion. "I said, marriage was a bad idea for me because guess who's going to be bar-hopping ALONE from now on?"  Stallion paused for dramatic effect.

"Listen, you know I don't like alcohol!" yelled Sparks from the front.

"I will ask again: what the hell is wrong with you" Stallion yelled back. Ellie giggled and placed her head further into him.

"Remind me, babe, what exactly, does command want us to look for in all this scrap?"

"They called it an ark or something, I don't-"

"An ark?" asked Stallion. "That just sounds like some dumb sci-fi thing. What does it do"

"No clue. They just said- here listen to the transmission yourself" He stood up, looking for his helmet. He grabbed it, and pressed a button on it's back. A projection started to play. General Adams stood firm (as he always did), hands behind his back. His cold grey eyes, unmoving.
