The picnic

Sam memorized that speech for the rest of the day. Sam was bound to get it right. He had to ask tonight. What would he loose? What would guy even say? Would he laugh? Would he accept?
These anxieties swelled in Sams chest- but they went away when he heard Guy call to him.
"Saaaaaam! It's nearly 10! Time for Picnic!" Guy said in a singsong voice. Sam felt warm hearing the love in guys voice.
"I'm coming my sweet~" Sam called back
He flew down the stairs and grabbed guys hand.
"Let's go!" He said in a sing song voice

The night sky glimmered with stars. It was late March, the spring air filling their lungs. It was quite, not many people out this late.
"Let's set it up here-" Sam pointed to a clear spot under a large apple tree.
So then the next 10 minutes consisted of Sam and Guy setting up their picnic. Sam has brought green eggs and ham sandwiches, and some juice. Guy picked apples- and placed them in the basket.
"So... you're really pretty huh..." Sam said dazed. "I mean- It's really pretty-" Sam blushed- embarrassment filling his checks.
Guy laughed and nodded, looking at the night sky. It really was beautiful.
"Guy-" Sam turned to guy.
"Guy, ever since I met you, I've fallen in love with you. You're the only person I'd want to wake up to every morning and look to my side to see you, in all your glory, sleeping beside me." Sam looked at guy, seeing his wide eyes, he continued, "You make me so happy, you make me happy to be alive. You give me hope to do better things. And I just want to spend the rest of my life with you- officially- with marriage."
Guy stared at Sam. Was he serious? Was this actually happening? Sure Sam talked about marriage but with him? Guy wasn't sure- if he was even good enough for Sam- so even date. Guy loved Sam so much- but what if Guy... wasn't the one for Sam? Couldn't Sam find someone better?
But all these anxiety's blew away with the final words of Sam-
"Will you marry me... Guy am I?"
Sam has already knelt down and opened the box with a small, thick wedding band. It was- beautiful..
"Sam-"
Guy stared at Sam, with no emotion in his eyes at first. Then a smile gushed over his face and tears formed in his eyes.
"Yes. I will marry you Sam I am."

A\N: Sorry these chapters are kinda short :/ I have a lot going on in my life- but I am trying to re read the chapters and make sure it makes sense. I wanna re do chapter one but I also wanna keep it??? Idk. Hope y'all liked that and there'll be more to come in the new year! BTW HAPPY NEW YEAR! 💖
