Ever since Guy was little, he hated his name, he hated that people judged his interests, life everything. He hated- people.
He hated the fact that everything sucked. He wanted to be an inventor and knew that his parents supported him but he didn't support him self, which was the most important thing.
He kept failing- kept hating.
Then, he met Sam.
And fell in love.
He didn't know at first of course, he thought he was just becoming friends with him- but after a while he grew more and more feelings for the optimistic smol man.
He tried to distract himself with Michelle- but... that did not work out. And when it failed.. Sam was there for him. Sam was always there, and Guy loved him.
Guys life became complete with Sam. Someone to wake up to- cooking breakfast. Someone to tell about your day at work. Someone to love. Always."So... are you going to order a tuxedo or not?" The man at the counter asked. Guy shook his head, pushing away the thoughts away, focusing on the man in front of him.
"Y-yes. There should be one already ordered? For, Guy-am-I." He said slightly smiling. He was nervous. He didn't want to be late for picking the flower crowns with Sam.. but this was taking more time then he thought.
"Oh yeah. A navy blue Large. Alright, come with me Mr Am I." He followed the man to the back where dozens of tuxes hung from rakes in plastic covering. The man looked down at his clipboard, flipping pages, looking around, and back at the clip board. He then walked over to a row and grabbed a navy blue tux.
"Alrighty. Let's get this fitted shall we?"
"Yes." The man walked guy to a room and asked him to put it on. It fit well, and he felt... good. He felt happy.
He walked out, when he saw the man was looking he turned in a circle.
"Yes yes very good Sir, only one thing-" the man walked up to guy and stuffed his neck scruff in to the tux. When he saw it looked better out he unstuffed it. Then the man screamed, "Delloris!"
A few seconds later a small woman came running in the room with a pin cushion and a tape measure. She looked him up and down.
"Looks good. There's a few adjustments I can make so it suits you better. If you wish Sir."
Guy nodded.
"Sure."
She walked over and started doing so, the man looked through a curtain, "I'll leave you to it honey, there's a few people out there."
"Go Morris, I'll be fine." She said waving. The man left and they were alone.
"So who's the lovely lady?"
Guy chocked at the words. He knew someone would assume he was marrying a woman. And he'd have to receive the judgement, which he wasn't a fan of.
"Well... he's wonderful. It's funny- we met at a diner while I was giving up on my life."
The woman kept sewing. Guy expected her to burst out laughing, or tell him to shut up, and that he's a sinner to be gay. But she kept silent.
"That's nice dear. So will he be coming in too?" She looked up smiling. Guy smiled back, happy she wasn't judgmental and a bigot. Or at least she was respectful.
"Actually, he wanted to wear a dress." Guy admitted, suddenly blushing after realizing he's sharing a lot with a stranger. He supposed he was just nervous and needed to talk to someone other than Sam himself.
"Oh?" She chuckled. "So your soon to be husband is wearing a dress to your wedding?" She asked blinking slowly.
"That's the plan yeah." He looked away.
"I'm sure sh- he's going to be beautiful." She smiled. She stepped back and looked at the suit.
"All done! Your total fee will be at the front counter."
He nodded and went back in the change room.
That was a first.
