"So everyone knows what a locked down is right."
Well to foreshadow what a lockdown is, "procedures vary by school district. Generally, a lockdown means that interior and exterior doors are locked, and all students and staff must remain in their location from the time the lockdown is announced. Windows are covered, and students are to stay away from windows".
"Well I'll be telling you one of my lockdown Story's, that was not so scary at all." (Actually it was pretty dumb too but you'll know in a minute)
"You see the story happens in elementary school."
My school would normally do lockdown drills."
"This one was not a drill, so we did the procedure."
But I wanted the ask my techcer and my helper (I had one in elementary)."
"My helper was mis.Lombardo, mis. L for short." After the drill was over."
I ask her what was the lockdown for."
"Because the lockdown came so sudden." She told me there was a "moose" in a backyard of the school."
"And this was before recess, the moose was just standing there."
So we had a lockdown because there was a moose in the backyard."
"And thinking about it today, it was pretty stupid." We could have recess inside people."
"But yeah that's the story people."
There was a moose in the backyard."
"Watch out for moose's in your backyards."
