i finished work and walked home as usual but when i arrived back at the house i saw an envelope on the doorstep. it had the number one on it and said open so i picked it up and opened it
hi bubs it's ryry, tomorrow is our anniversary and as i'm not going to be there i thought i'd set up a little trail for you with a surprise at the end :) there's 6 envelopes around the house and in each one there's a clue where to find the next. i love you now have fun x

i smiled and ran inside and to the living room where envelope number two was
well done you've found number two! we spent most of our time together in this room. remember when i tripped over and fell which made you fall too XD funny times.
i laughed then continued to read.
our best memories were made in this room and damn i miss it. now go to where your favourite things of mine used to be x
my favourite things of his were his hoodies so i walked upstairs and to his wardrobe where there was a hoodie and an envelope
ayyy you have number 3 you're halfway there! in the mornings you used to always come here and take my hoodies to go downstairs in (you looked adorable) i wasn't even mad because they looked better on you anyway. i miss you. there should be a hoodie on the floor which i've sent to you :)
i picked it up and put it on

i put the envelopes in the pocket of the hoodie and went downstairs to the kitchen.
number 4 only 2 left!!! i miss being able to cook for you and bringing you breakfast in bed. i miss your amazing meals too of course you lil master chef. you tried my pancakes for the first time here and i remember how you asked me for more once you'd finished one. they were pretty amazing to be fair. we also had a paint fight around this kitchen which is still one of my favourite memories of ours. that day was hilarious.

i went back upstairs and into the bathroom. when i was brushing my teeth he used to always come and hug me.
hi precious this is the last one before your surprise. i hope you like it. i used to always come hug you right where you're standing while you were doing your morning routine and it's where we used to sing a lot of the time. those moments man :( okay i can't wait any longer, go to where you got the first envelope.
i paced down the stairs and opened the door to see ryan holding the last envelope. i cried and ran to hug him. he held me tight and gave me a kiss on the head. best. surprise. ever.
"w-what are you doing here omg!?" i shouted still holding his arms
"i had to see you" he smiled and hugged me again
"i love you" i whispered
"i love you too" he said back and gave me a kiss
