After Winter hung up she knew she had to go to General Ironwood but had to wait until the day was over. Once it was Winter went in the general's office.
Ironwood: (looks up from his papers) What may I help you with Winter?
Winter: Why isn't L/N's mission on the records?
Ironwood was initially shocked, recoiling back in his seat. He composed himself before saying a response.
Ironwood: (under breath) Blasted Ozpin and his team. (to Winter) Specialist L/N will simply explain the details to you when you arrive.
Winter: What!?
Ironwood: (looks out the window, pondering) I decided that you will be assign to this mission as of right now. The importance of this mission mandates that another specialist gets sent also. Now is there anything else you wish to discuss?
Winter: No sir.
Ironwood: Good. You are now dismissed.
Winter saluted the General before leaving. She went supplies she may need beforehand. Then she went to the hangar bay to the bullhead.
Atlas Pilot: (looking at scroll) Hmmm. A last minute change. (looks up and notices Winter) Oh you must be the addition that is going to Beacon.
Winter: Yes, I'm the new addition. Now may I ask when the bullhead will be leaving.
Atlas Pilot: You're just in luck as the bullhead should be ready now.
Winter entered the bullhead with the pilot and the co-pilot following behind. They were doing last minute adjustments and then they took off.
Atlas Pilot: We won't arrive until the next day so I suggest you catch a few z's before we arrive to Beacon.
Atlas Co-Pilot: (flips switches) Yeah this will take some time. The weather conditions on the flight route hasn't fully cleared yet.
Winter complied with their recommendation as she already was tired to begin with. She has not gotten any sleep these past couple of days.
Next day forward
Team RWBY was following Y/N thinking that he was leaving. Y/N was helping Acel carry out Fritz. The bullhead arrived, making its decent to land.
Yang: Bye Y/N. It's been good beating Ruby after she said she was the best.
Y/N: I am not leaving Vale yet, as of now I am on vacation.
Fritz: Bye you four.
Acel: Seeing as how we are leaving we are just gonna say now how we did never learned your names. None of you mentioned your names in our presence.
The four were gonna respond but as they were gonna the bullhead landed. Y/N went to open the doors but he didn't know someone was on the other side.
Weiss: (surprised) Winter? What are you here for?
Y/N helped Acel get Fritz inside, waving bye to the two. With the bullhead flying off it left the now six there.
Y/N: Winter! It's nice seeing you but why are you here?
Winter: I've been assigned to this mission by General Ironwood himself.
Y/N: Wait this mission was off the records and you wouldn't have known unless...
Y/N looks at Weiss who tries to look away to avoid suspicion.
Winter: Why didn't you say anything before you left? I tried looking for you for awhile now.
