The Story of Kurt Hummel

Chapter 2: A Year of Change

I'm 8 years old now and this chapter is how my life changed and how things will never be the same again. Also I meet somebody who might have something to do with my future family just wait and see.

Burt: Come on Kurt it's time to go see your mom at the hospital.
(I ran down the stairs with my sweater halfway on and my umbrella in my hand.
Me: Ok daddy let's go.
(Burt and I got in the car and headed off to the hospital)
Doctor: Hello Mr. Hummel nice to see you.
Burt: Hello Doctor Potter nice to see you too, I'm here with my son Kurt to see my wife.
Doctor: Ummm...there may be a slight problem with that.
Me: What's going on daddy???
Burt: What's wrong please tell me she's ok
Doctor: I wish I could say she's ok.
Burt: What happened to my wife????
( Burt asked grabbing my hand and holding it close)
Doctor: Your wife passed away last night, she was having trouble breathing and then her heart just stopped.
(As the doctor said that I started to cry and my dad pulled me in an embrace)
Burt: It's ok Kurt, everything is going to be okay I promise.
Doctor: Well I will leave you two alone, I have other patients to see.
Burt: Alright doc, come on Kurt let's go get McDonald's it's almost lunchtime.
Me: Ok let's go.
:At McDonald's:
John: What would you guys like to order?
Burt: Umm we will get a chicken nugget Happy meal with honey mustard, apple slices, and a Sprite and also we will get a two double cheeseburgers with a medium fry and a large diet Coke.
John: Ok that will be $26.75 please.
Burt: Here ya go thanks so much.
John: Your welcome, your food will be right out to you.
Burt: Ok thanks come on Kurt let's go find a table.
Me: Ok daddy
(I started running into the room where the playground and all the tables were)
Me: Come on daddy hurry up, I wanna play.
Burt: Ok Ok I'm coming hahaha.
Me: Can I go play in the play place.
Burt: I suppose I will get you when they bring the food out.
Me: Ok daddy.
(I ran to the playground, took off my shoes and put them in a cubby)
Finn: Hi I'm Finn nice to meet you.
(I turned to see a boy a few inches taller than me with brown hair)
Me: Hi my name is Kurt Hummel nice to meet you.
Finn: My full name is Finn Hudson. I'm here with my mom.
Me: I'm here with my dad, we just found out my mom passed away at the hospital this morning.
Finn: Oh I'm very sorry for your loss Kurt hope everything is ok.
Me: It will be my dad said everything will be ok.
Finn: I'm sure it will be, my dad is very sick.
Me: I hope he feels better soon.
Finn: Thanks, umm hey wanna be friends Kurt.
Kurt: Sure I guess.
Burt: Kurt the food is here come eat.
Kurt: Ok daddy I'm coming.
(I grabbed my shoes and ran towards my dad but turned to say something to Finn)
Me: Hey Ummm Finn.
Finn: Yea???
Me: Thank you
Finn: Your welcome.
(Finn smiled and ran back to his mom)
