— persephone is a paradox, she is gentle and cold, cunning and kind, beautiful and deadly. her whole life has centered around the royal family, she is fiercely loyal, willing to kîll for them in a heartbeat. unless, of course, someone else pays her more. perce does not trust other people but can easily get them to trust her. she is ambitious and knows no boundaries when trying to reach a goal. although, persephone often has moments of extreme frustration. she doesn't know if what she is doing is right, and oftentimes wants to run away and fall madly in love. but her job would never allow that. — experts in their craft practice for years, even lifetimes to perfect their skills. persephone was a trainee for as long as she could remember, learning everything from kîlling a man to pleasuring him. she doesn't remember her parents or any life outside of this except for one girl. before perce was taken to be trained, she was in love, but all that love lead to was heartbreak. persephone's love died because of her. perce vowed not to let her emotions get the best of her anymore although sometimes someone reminds her of her first love, and she can't help but let her feelings get in the way.
at eighteen she was chosen by the valka court to be the king's knight after the last one died of... mysterious circumstances. ever since, she did the kings dirty work. she assassinated, she spied, she used whatever means to help better her kingdom. but persephone always wondered that if someone gave her a lifeline out of this, would she take it?
