y/n sat on the floor with her back against the wall and knees to her chest. finn was on the edge if her bed, elbows on his thighs and head resting on his palms. both their throats, throbbing from the amount of times they've shouted in the past hour.

slowly he began to speak again, way softer than a few minutes ago. "i really don't understand why you can't see what i do" he whispered, catching her attention as she opened her eyes to see him still lay motionless. "that's because there's nothing to see finn" she replied, causing him to very quietly scoff.

he loved her, yes, but lately with all the traveling and work, his stress started to affect his thoughts. wandering around sensitive topics like the relationship he had with his girlfriend who was alone at home, free of him.

but because of the different time zones he felt as if calling her at any time would seem needy; even if he wouldn't dare to mind if she rang his number up in between scenes or shows.

other than their planned calls and unexpected texts, when he'd miss her he'd let himself casually stalk her social medias. it being normal since he was her boyfriend anyways.

until, it got out of hand.

when he'd scroll through her followers list he would let his mind run wild, overthinking everything he had ever done in their relationship. somehow, only the names of boys registered through his head when he'd silently read the usernames, worrying him.

no, he didn't believe she was cheating on him. but the fact that his perfect girlfriend was miles away from him surrounded by boys scared him to death. she'd try to convince that they were just random people from school, or friends that she had met while he was gone. which, only made his heart sink faster.

the thought that he couldn't remind others that she was his let his blood boil even more that they decided on not having an open relationship. naturally leading to heated arguments on whether the trust was present or not.

this, leading them to present day where she got finn to meet all the guys that he'd been most definitely on the look out for, resulting into an even bigger issue when he supposedly caught one of them trying to flirt with her.

"i'm serious." she said, resting her head on the wall so she could get a better look at him. they haven't seen each other in the longest time and they were already in a heap of a mess. "so am i." he mumbled. she sighed his name, clearly frustrated with all this drama.
