  I decided to skip school that morning, damn I hated hangovers. I should've been smarter than that, but of course knowing me; I'm not.

  I grabbed my phone of my dresser. A smile tugging at my lips. Keith texted me.

Keith: Hey babe! I'm so sorry I haven't been responding to your recent messages. I um have been busy, you know me. I miss your cute little ass so much. How about I make it up to you; meet me at the smoothie place later tonight at 8:00. Where something cute. Peace Babe.

Yay! I thought to myself it's about time. I decided to sleep in the mean time, my head was still banging from last night.

"Eddie!" 

I groaned tiredly. 

"Yes, Mommy!?" 

"Get up it's 7:30!"

"Oh shit." I said to myself, hopping out of bed. I ran into my closet fishing out my favorite black and red sweatshirt and red sweatpants. I threw on some shoes and ran downstairs. 

"I'm going to the library." I lied, placing a kiss on my mother's cheek.

"Okay sweetie! Have fun; don't be out too late." 

I left the house, shivering at the cold. Dammit I don't have a ride.

I called Bill, hoping he could pick me up.

He arrived about 10 minutes later. 

"So where to, eds?"

"Smoothie place, on Maine."

"Keith?" Bill asked rolling his eyes.

I looked down. 

"Eddie, I hate that dumbass. You deserve better, but just for your sake I'll take you. I swear to god though if that bastard hurts you, he will never see daylight again.

I frowned. Then smiled, not wanting Bill to change his mind.

I arrived at the smoothie shop. I was late. Keith hated when I was late. But it was only by 10 minutes, but it still doesn't cut it.

Keith walked over to me, his fists balled up a huge frown plastered on his face. He was pissed.

He leaned in close to my ear. "What did I tell you about being late." He growled.

"I'm sorry baby, I had a bad night last night and I slept in and I had to get a-"

"Shut up!" He hissed. 

Before I knew it he was dragging me out into the alley beside the smoothie shop.

"This calls for a punishment."

"Please no!" I begged. 

My heart was racing. What is he going to do to me. I thought he loved me. He couldn't hurt me that bad could he. 

He grabbed me by the hair, forcing me down on my knees.
