Sol and Luna : Chapter 4 - Luna's

"Hey Sela"Abby greeted Sela after their practice.
"Hey By", Sela replies, "What can I do for you today?"
"Are you available later?" Abby asked
"Later, like what later?" Sela confirmed
"Around 8PM" Abby replied.
"I'm available! Sure, where do you want to eat?" Sela excitedly asked
"We can eat anywhere you want, but I need to talk to you..." Abby's voice trailed off.
Sela nodded.
"Where do you want to meet?" Sela asked.
Abby's heartbeat is so loud beacuse of nervousness, her eardrums starts to hurt.
She musteted all her strength and replied
"At the roofdeck"
"Roofdeck, 8pm sharp. Got it" Sela replied as she walked towards exit.
Abby's smile and happiness at that moment felt no boundaries.
She turned around and gave a thumbs up to the Tatlogs. They replied with a grin.
Abby can't wait.

Abby Checked her Phone.

"She's on her way now" Abby thought.
She checked again.

"She must have forgotten"
She texted Sela
"Here already."
She checked again.

She stood up and looked over the railings.

She sat down again.

"Nakatulog siguro" she thought.
She tried calling her.
"The number you're calling is out of service. Please try again later" the automated voice told her.
"Baka na lowbat"
"Baba nalang kaya ako?" Abby thought.
She checked again.

"Kaso pag bumaba ako at dumating siya..." Abby told herself.

"Paparating na yun..."

The time reads.
"..."Abby's just staring at the stair now.
Then she heard steps.
Her heart leapt with joy
"Andito na siya!!!" Her brain is screaming colors.
"Hi?" An unfamilliar voice called out.
Abby was taken aback.
"Abby, you're there?" The voice called out again.
"Yes. I'm here" She replied
A head popped out from the stairway and greeted her
"Hi!"
"Yzabel!" Abby exclaimed.
"Hi" Yzabel Answered back.
"You're waiting for someone?" Yzabel asked
"Yeah"Abby answered while nodding.
"Mind if I join?" Yzabel asked
Abby shook her head.
Yzabel gleefully hop towards the bech where Abby sat.
Her beautiful floral dress dance along with her gracefulness.
"I saw you earlier, looking over the railings. You were scanning the place. Thought you were in trouble so I came" Yzabel explained.
"Uhm, yeah, was looking for someone" Abby replied
"Same someone that's supposed to be here?" Yzabel asked
Abby nodded.
"You look pretty in your Red shirt" Yzabel commented
"Thanks" Abby replied. She was hoping Sela would be the one to commend it.
"Why are you still here Yzabel?" Abby told Yzabel in an irritated tone.
"Because you're sad, and you're still alone" Yzabel replied with a small smile in her face.
"I can't leave a beautiful lady like you alone in a place like this, much less when they're feeling sad."
Abby flinched.
"You know what, just whisper it to the stars" Yzabel told Abby.
They both looked up and watch the stars twinkle.
"Dati, whenever I feel down, I just whisper it to the stars. I mean, malay mo diba? They might hear it and grant your wish" Yzabel added.

"How about to the moon?" Abby replied unconciously

"Pwede, I mean it's bigger, baka the reception is better so maririnig ka, and malakas ang granting powers ni mama Luna" Yzabel replied with a grin.

Abby can't help but break a weak smile.

"Oh diba, nag smile ka na" Yzabel said, "pero..." her voice trailed of as She wiped something from Abby's face, "Don't cry okay? You're no longer sad kanina and now, you're not alone anymore. I'll be here" Yzabel assured Abby as she gripped her hand.

Abby broke down and started crying.
"Let it out, let it out" Yzabel told Abby as she pat her back.

Abby wants to stop but tears keeps on coming.
She felt Yzabel's hug.
"Shhhhh" Yzabel sushed her.
"The moon might be big and bright but she was lonely when the sun left her, good thing the stars were their for her." Yzabel whispered.

"Tears today will become strength tomorrow" Abby whispered back.
"Ata girl" Yzabel told her.

"Actually, earlier, when I saw you I found my self climbing up here. Then I thought, baka may kausap ka and tried to go back, but I can't. I got scared" Yzabel told Abby.
Abby chuckled.
She felt a little bit better than she was earlier.
Good thing Yzabel was there. She's been holding her hand and didn't let go even until now.
"Thanks Yzabel" Abby replied while staring at their locked hands.
"No problem." Yzabel replied with a grin, "Good thing wala yung ibang girls so you can crash. But I mean, ayaw mo sa room mo?"
"Nakaka istorbo ba ako?" Abby asked
Yzabel smiled and shook her head.
"I just can't figure out how to sleep when there's a pretty girl with me" She replied.
"Huh?" Abby looked Yzabel with a puzzled face.
"Huh?" Yzabel replied with the same puzzled face then giggled.
Abby forced a weak smile and gripped Yzabel's hand a little bit harder.
"You know what's the strongest thing a sad person can do?" Yzabel asked Abby.
Abby shook her head.
"It's when she face the world tomorrow and still be able to give a smile." Yzabel told Abby, "So promise me tomorrow you'll smile"
"I can't" Abby replied while holding her tears again.
"It's ok, tonight, you can cry as much as you can" Yzabel told her.
She gave a weak smile.
"Just like that, but a bit bigger and a tad brighter" Yzabel commented, "Let's get you home"

"You can sleep at the lower bunk, while I'll ne on the upper" Yzabel told Abby.
Abby nodded.
"Lights on or off"
"Off" Abby replied.
"Okie dokie, good night" Yzabel told Abby as she turned off the lights and started climbing the upper bunk.
"Good night" Abby replied weakly.
Abby let go of the tears she's been holding since earlier.
She wept silently.
She doesn't want to wake up Yzabel. She was already kind enough to let her sleep here.
"It's alright"Yzabel told her as she suddenly hug her from behind.
Her body stiffen.
"Shhhh, I'm here"Yzabel told her.
She faced Yzabel who's smile gave a little comfort to her bleedong heart.
"I'll be here. I won't leave you" Yzabel told her as she kisses her forehead.
Abby nodded.
They fell asleep hugging each other with a smile on their faces.
