Third Person's POV
"Math is so stupid." Percy muttered trying to solve a hard - not really - math problem. He, as he promised Annabeth, was studying for SAT in order to go to the University in New Rome with her. They could finally have a normal life together. Percy started daydreaming until a God came into his bedroom.
"Um, Percy? Zeus has summoned you. Just remember this, I don't want to do this to you." The God, Hermes said looking a bit guilty. Percy sighed and gave permission to take him to wherever Zeus wanted him to be. He started to have bad thoughts about it, but it was clear that Percy did not have a choice.
In a flash, Percy was standing in the middle of the throne room, surrounded by some angry and some miserable gods and goddesses. They were arguing about something. Zeus, being a Drama Queen thundered, "As the traitor entered the throne room, we can now open a court." Percy got confused, because when he looked around, there was no other demigod in the throne room.
"What do you mean by traitor?" Percy thought aloud. Zeus glared at him, and Percy started to panic. They couldn't possibly think that he, who saved them countless times was a traitor. All the boy did, was trying to protect the ones he loved, and he would never betrayed them. His fatal flaw was fucking loyalty for god's sake.
"At the recent war against Gaea, my daughter, who wants to stay anonymous, and I suspect that Perseus Jackson is a traitor. We believe that the nosebleed he had back then was done on purpose in order to help Gaea to rise. Us, Olympians including my sister and brother, Hestia and Hades will vote if he is guilty or not, and if he is decided guilty, we shall punish him by death." Zeus said, clearly not giving me a chance to speak for myself. And so, the voting began.
"I, Hades, the God of underworld, the dead, and riches, vote that Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon is innocent. Over the last few years, he has shown nothing but loyalty towards us. I, Hades, the God of underworld will bless Percy as a sign of appreciation as this might be the last chance for me to show it to him."
"I, Ares, the God of war vote that Perseus Jackson, son of Poseidon is guilty. I didn't like him from the start anyways."
"I, Apollo, the God of the Sun, light, oracles, knowledge, healing, diseases, music, poetry, songs, dance, archery, herds and flocks, and protection of young vote that Perce is innocent. The reasoning is same as Uncle H and I'll bless him too as a sign of appreciation."
"I, Artemis, the Goddess of the hunt, forests and hills, the Moon and archery vote that Perseus Jackson, son of Poseidon is guilty. He was the only boy I approved off, but in the end, he was same as his kind."
"I, Hermes, the Messenger of the gods, god of trade, thieves, travelers, sports, athletes, border, crossings, guide to the Underworld, vote that Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon is innocent. He helped my son, Luke to be a hero, and there is no reason for him to be a spy for the enemy. He is extremely loyal for our sake. As Uncle Hades, and Cousin Apollo did, I'll bless him as a sign of appreciation."
"I, Demeter, the Goddess of the harvest, agriculture, fertility and sacred law, vote that Perseus Jackson, son of Poseidon is guilty. He doesn't eat enough cereals to be innocent."
"I, Hephaestus, the God of fire, metalworking, stone masonry, forges, the art of sculpture, technology, and blacksmiths, vote that Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon is innocent. He has no reason to betray us.
"I, Aphrodite, the Goddess of love, beauty and sexuality, vote that Perseus Jackson, son of Poseidon is guilty."
"I, Athena, the Goddess of wisdom, handicraft, and war, vote that Perseus Jackson, son of Poseidon is guilty. He is the son of Poseidon, so I have no reason to believe he is innocent."
"I, Hestia, the Goddess of the hearth, home, domesticity, family, and the state, vote that Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon is innocent. He brought hope to many people."
"I, Dionysus, the God of the vine, grape-harvest, wine-making wine, fertility, ritual madness, religious ecstasy, theatre, vote that Peter Johnson, son of Poseidon is guilty. He's just an annoying camper I'm willing to get rid of."
"I, Hera, the Goddess of marriage, women, childbirth, and family, vote that Perseus Jackson is guilty. I can't believe the plan I made to bring the two camps worked."
"I, Poseidon, the God of the sea, storms, earthquakes, horses, vote that my son, Percy, is innocent. If you gods didn't notice, his fatal flaw is loyalty. He would die if it means protecting the ones he love.
"I, Zeus, King of the Gods, God of the sky, lightning, thunder, law, order, justice, vote that Perseus Jackson, son of Poseidon is guilty."
With that the vote ended, and Percy didn't need to be great at math to notice that the majority of the gods voted that he was guilty.
"Perseus Jackson, the son of Poseidon, is declared guilty. Now we will hold an execution." Zeus announced. "Perseus Jackson, step forward."
Percy did tried to step backwards, but some force was stopping him to go backwards. Percy sighed, and stepped forward.
"Any last words, Perseus?" Zeus snarled at me getting ready to strike me with his 'mighty' lighting bolt.
"Well, for my patrons, dad and Lady Hestia, thank you for believing me. And please tell Annabeth that I love her, and sorry for not being able to be with her in our future plans. Tell the stars that Bob said Hello. Lastly, when a threat comes, you will regret that you killed your hero, the other hero's friend. And good bye." Percy said closing his eyes waiting for the strike to come.
...
...
Only that it never came.
