When Justice Sees Light (Rewritten Version)

Benjamin? Who is that boy?

He, for the first time in his life, hit the target that he was suppose to hit. And he even hit the bulls-eye. 

Just joking. Did you believed that Percy who was not allowed to go to archery class because he hit Chiron who was standing behind him too much, will hit the bulls-eye in one day? It even took him at least hundred shots to actually hit the target. And he kinda cheated by using the water molecules around him to guide that arrow to the target.

When Percy went to dinner, Hades complimented him. He was impressed of Percy's skill to be able to train that fast. Of course, being a modest guy, Percy replied to Hades that he could've done better. Hades sighed at his modesty, but was still proud.

Time flew by, and Percy mastered all his new skills. He was able to change his appearance so he could look like a total different person. He was able to run fast, shadow travel, vapour travel, use ukulele as a weapon, shoot a bulls-eye every time he shoots and could do more. And yes, he could sing.

Now, Percy got permission from Hades to go outside. He created an alias, Benjamin Ben Watson. He had shaggy blonde hair, blue eyes, looking a bit like a mini version of Will Solace. He, as Benjamin Watson, was going to go to camp half-blood to wait for the prophecy to start.

Percy or should I say, Ben went to Apollo before he went to camp, and asked Apollo to claimed him. Then Ben shadow traveled to Thalia's tree and walked through the border. As soon as he walked through, he saw Chiron and the campers looking above his head. He acting confused looked up. Above him, was the symbol of Apollo. When he looked back to Chiron, he saw Apollo in front of him. Ben sighed and waved to Apollo.

"Hey dad, why are you here? I thought we agreed that you will just let me go to camp without interruption." Ben said. Apollo only returned a smile. Ben noticed the smile and understood what he was going to do. He rolled his eyes, and whispered to him. "You started this prank war, 'Dad'." Apollo only smiled more brighter.

"All hail Benjamin Watson, son of Apollo, blessed by Poseidon, Hades and Hermes. If any of you harm him in anyway, you'll face the wrath of two of the big threes, and Hermes and I." He said, as Ben started to blush out of embarrassment. Ben shadow traveled behind Apollo and hit Apollo's head with an ukulele. Out of Ben's surprise, Apollo fainted.

"I... I didn't know a god could faint just like that-" Ben stuttered. His face got as red as a tomato as he noticed all the campers were staring at him like he was an alien. "Can you guys please stop staring at me? It is kinda making me nervous." He said, after waiting for 5 minutes for them to stop staring at him. After all, he wanted to take a rest.

One by one, campers started to go back to what they were doing, and Chiron galloped to him. "Welcome to camp, Benjamin-", Ben cut him off by saying that he prefers Ben, "Ben. I think you'll stay at the Hades cabin for now, since there is a boy who is all himself there. I think you won't need to watch the orientation film since you know about the gods already. Have you ever been trained?" Chiron said as he was walking with Ben.

"I have been trained. Who is this son of a Hades you are talking about?" Ben answered and asked even though he knew it was Nico. Chiron was looking around for someone, probably Nico, and was going to the direction to the infirmary. Perhaps Nico was having a crush on a certain son of Apollo.

"Ah, Nico! Can you give Ben here a tour? He is a son of Apollo, but is blessed by Poseidon, Hades and Hermes, so he will be staying with you." Chiron told Nico, when he finally found Nico. Nico looked miserable, like someone took all of his collection of Mythomagic. He looked at me interested when Chiron said I was blessed by three gods. He faked a smile and nodded at me to follow him.

"Hello?..." Ben said breaking the long silence between him and Nico. Nico looked at Ben and sighed. Certainly, Nico wasn't in the mood of talking. Something had happened when Ben, no Percy went away. 

"Sorry, I've been like this since a friend of mine got betrayed by this camp. It's just... the gods you were blessed, and your dad was the only gods, not including Hestia, was the ones who believed in him." Nico said, making it clear to Ben, that it was because of him, that Nico was like this. Ben smiled, and told Nico that he will tell him something later. 

It was time for Hades cabin and Apollo for archery. Of course Ben nailed the class, surprising other kids in the Apollo's cabin. When other kids asked how he is so good at archery since even them had to practice for years, Ben simply replied with, "My 'mortal' father was an archer when he was in high school. Unfortunately he had to stop archery because he was diagnosed with ALS, Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or also known as the Lou Gehrig's disease, and had to stay in the hospital until he died. His last wish for me was to become an archer and go to the Olympics." which was completely a lie.

After archery, Ben got informed by Nico that Capturing the Flag was tomorrow. The Hades cabin was in alliance with Apollo, Hermes and Hephaestus Cabin. Soon after Ben got swarmed by the Apollo's cabin and ask what other things Ben could do. Ben just smiled and said, "I don't want anyone else to know just yet, we have Athena Cabin as our opponent. I heard one of Athena's child has a hat to turn invisible. She might be currently listening." In truth, Annabeth was indeed invisible and was listening to them. Ben winked at where invisible Annabeth was, and Annabeth became confused.

Who was this person, and how did he know she was there? This new son of Apollo was a mystery to her. And of course, could he, perhaps know something about where her boyfriend is?

At the campfire, Ben was forced to sing. He sang, 'I Lost a Friend' by Finneas.

Some how, all the campers who betrayed Percy, felt the pains that Percy felt. When Ben finished, he was on the edge of tears, but the campers, were crying. Ben asked Chiron if he could be excused early, and Chiron gave him and Nico permission to leave early.

Nico was curious about what Ben could do and what Ben was going to tell him later. "So, what were you going to tell me before?" Nico asked. Ben flinched and vapour-traveled to the sea palace where Ben's room was. Then he allowed Nico to breathe by making a small bubble around him. 

"Before I tell you this, you have to swear on the river of styx that you won't tell what I'm about to say to anyone without my permission." Ben said seriously and when Nico swore, he set up a sound barrier. "This is Percy Jackson's room. He is alive and safe. Besides... the song I sung at the campfire? He, himself taught me that song." 

Nico just gaped like a fish, until Ben shadow traveled them to the Hades cabin for the night.
