When I got home I was immediately face to face with my maid Angelica.
Angelica has been around since I was born, she had come from Britain and needed a job. Taking this one not knowing she'd stay the rest of her life nor knowing she'd be part of a family who loved her. She was in her late 40s with short chestnut hair and bright green eyes. Said green eyes were currently boring into my blue eyes before she let me inside and led me into the kitchen.
"Have you eaten?" She asked, her British accent coming out slightly although she's lived in the US for about 20 years so far.
I shake my head, "Not yet."
She let out a frustrated sigh, "You need to eat Matthew! I mean look at you! You're practically skin and bones!"
I smiled hearing her scold me since it let me know she cared, "Angelina, I'm ok and I'm not just skin and bones, I just have a fast metabolism." I tried to reason a bit with her although I knew it wouldn't work. And I was correct.
Sighing once more at me, she grabbed my arm and led me to the kitchen where steaming hot food was waiting for me. After sitting me down on a seat near the island she set a dish in front of me and made me eat as she watched. When I finished and she was content that I had eaten she let me free.
Getting to my room I immediately went to my king sized bed and laid down as I shut my eyes. Not a second after Jade was all I thought about as I zoned off. When I snapped out of my thoughts I sighed as I pulled my phone out, seeing as it was 4:40. I then decided to get my school work out of the way and sat up as I opened my book bag and got to work. When I was done I pulled my phone out and let the day pass as I texted Reid and played games on my phone.
The last thing I did before bed was once again think of Jade after being distracted for so long. Unconsciously a small smile made its way to my face thinking of her as I let my eyes shut an let the darkness consume me.

"Matthew..." a voice called out to me as I felt someone poke my cheek.
I was confused, at first I thought it was Reid, but the voice was too feminine like so I thought it was Angelica. Being too lazy to actually open my eyes and see I instead mumbled, "Go away." And try to hide my face.
The voice giggled which soon caused me to snap my eyes open as well sitting straight since Angelica doesn't giggle. I was immediately face to face with a smirking Jade, a trying not to laugh Reid and a laughing Jackson. I felt my face heat up as Jade soon hit Jackson's chest making him stop laughing as she placed the back of her hand on my forehead.
"Are you feeling ok Matt?"
I felt my face heat up a bit more heading her call me 'Matt', but I force myself to calm down as I nod and move away from her as I look around. When I do I notice we're in Miss Mare's classroom, but it's empty. I got confused again as I look at Reid.
"Where is everyone?"
"You fell asleep in class and Jade here didn't let Miss Mare wake you up. Class just ended so don't worry we aren't late yet." He answers casually.
My eyes widen, "What?!" I exclaim as I look at Jade, "How long was I asleep for?"
She had an amused look on her face as she says, "Well... it was only ten minutes into class before I saw your head drop into your arms so... half a hour since class is 40 minutes."
I felt my face pale more since I normally only sleep in this class for about 10 minutes. "I-I missed all of class?" I asked although I knew the answer as I looked at Reid, "Why didn't you wake me up?!"
He flinched slightly at my tone before answering, "Like I said, Jade didn't let anyone wake you up, but you're awake now so let's get to class before we're late ok?"
I only sigh as I nod and was about to grab my bag when jade grabbed it as well as Reid's making us both confused.
"Jackson walk Reid to class, I don't want you know who messing with him today." Jade ordered as Jackson nodded and smirked at Reid.
"Cmon brainiac, lets get you to class." He says as he grabs Reid's bag from Jade and loops an arm around Reid's shoulders before dragging him out of the classroom.
I look at Jade, "Can I have my bag back?"
She shakes her head as she then grabbed my arm making me stand and follow her. Opening the door she says, "I'm walking you to class today Matthew." As she was then face to face with Miss Mare, "Thanks for keeping the class empty Miss Mare," as she then seemed to whisper something in our teachers ear.
Whatever she whispered made Miss Mare smile as she says, "Of course." As she looks at me, "You can sleep whenever you feel like it Matthew, I know us teachers give you a lot of work and understand that you need sleep."
I looked at her strangely, but before I could process that Jade pulled me out of the classroom and down to my next class.
"Do you even know what class I'm going to?" I ask.
"Not really, but I know which way you go." She answers as we walk through the partly empty hallway.
When we did get to my class after I took the lead, we were late and my teacher, Mr. Umbride was in the middle of talking when we entered. He looked like he was going to yell until he saw jade behind me. Staring at her for a moment he turned to me and muttered "Go to your seat."
I was confused once more, but put it aside as Jade handed me back my bag as I then went to my seat. I could feel the eyes of everyone in my class either staring at me or Jade. Mostly Jade. When I sat, I looked to see she was watching me, I immediately looked away as I felt my ears burn as I grabbed my things for class out of my bag. Mr. Umbride went up to Jade as he spoke a few words to her before going back to the front of the class as she looked at me once more before leaving.
