Chapter 1

~Y/Ns POV~

"A fresh start"I smiled to myself talking in the fresh air after a long, long car drive. "Isn't it just amazing, We get to live together!"A excited Taylor spoke from behind me.

Crystal and I have been best friends since Kindergarten. "Well girls you should start unpacking, tomorrows your first day at school"Mrs.Taylor said placing a hand on Crystals shoulder.

"Right"Crystal and I nod, Mrs.Taylor places a soft kiss on the girls forehead before walking to Mr.Taylor. "Living with you two, what a nightmare"My older brother groaned.

"Asher shut it"I glared at him before grabbing a box of my belongings and going to the only available room it seems. Guess everyone picked their room while I was outside.

Time skip

"We got this, sophomore year is our year"Crystal smiled holding my hand as we stood outside the school doors. "Come on, we're going to be late"Asher sighs grabbing our hands and dragging us in.

"Wait! A musical! Oh I have to audition, Y/N audition with me?"The black hair girl asked with puppy dog eyes. "What? I don't do Musi-okay fine!"I sigh giving into her puppy dog eyes.

"Come on Crystal we have chemistry"Asher said trying to get the girl to hurry. "Rush me one more time and there won't be a hand to rush me with"She glared at the boy who quickly stopped.

"How are we related? Crystal is the most innocent girl, she wouldn't harm a fly yet your scared of her"I laughed at my brother. "She's done things that haunt me for life"He shivered in fear.

"Aw come on she was 7, she didn't mean to burn your stuffed toy"I shake my head at the boy. "Yes she did, the look in her eyes. She enjoyed burning Mr.Bubbles"He defended crossing his arms.

"I said I was sorry! Let's go, I'll see you at the auditions"Crystal said before dragging my brother with her. I let out a small laugh at the two before going to look for my class.

"I should have asked for a tour of this place"I mumbled looking at the number of my first class. Just as I look up I bump straight into a hard yet soft chest. My books and papers slip out of my hands.

"I am so sorry"The person apologized bending down to pick up my things. "It's fine I should have been paying attention"I replied picking up my books as he hands me my papers.

"I'm Ricky"He offered me a smile. "Y/N"I gave him a smile back as we both stand back up. "We have first period together"He blurted out. "Really? Mind taking me there, I'm a little lost"I said with a sheepish smile.

"Sure, so where'd you come from?"He asked as we walk down the hallway. "Well from New York, my brother and me moved in with my best friend because our parents had to go on a business trip"I start.

"Originally we were supposed to live in Georgia with them but they moved down here for family stuff so now I'm here"I end turning to look at him as we stop in front of a class

"Well we're here, you should eat lunch with my friend and me, if you want of course"He said with a nervous chuckle. "Of course"I walk into the class with a small smile. "Yes!"I hear him whisper to himself. Today isn't so bad.
