The day with you 3

Bakugou's POV

We kept walking around the mall some more. It was almost lunch and I decided we just go and eat. "Hey, let's go grab lunch," I state. Uraraka looks at me and nods with a smile. "Sure," she says. We went towards a bistro and sat down. Both of us scanned the menu and then the waitress came to us. "Ready to order?" she asked. "I'll have some steak with a salad as side-dish and some spicy corn soup with iced tea," I answer. I look towards Uraraka who looked at the lady. "I'll have some chicken curry and mushed potatoes as side-dish with some water," she states. The woman nods then goes away. "You don't want some dessert?" she asked. "Nah, I get full with that already," I stated. "And why do you ask?" I continue. "I dunno, you're eating some spicy food, I thought you'd get some ice cream or something cool for it," she answered. "Hah?! I eat spicy food all the time," I say. She just shrugged and nodded. "Besides, you don't eat vegetables?" I asked. "I do but usually for dinner," she answered. "Well, whatever," I say and look away.

"What else are we doing after this?" she asked. I think for a moment. There's one thing but that's for tonight. "I don't know, you think for the afternoon," I say. She thought for a minute as well then she says, "How about we go for the race?" I look at her confused. "What race?" I ask. "There's this place where you can race against each other, I think it's close to  the sports stadium," she answers. I could see her eyes gleam when she thought of it. Honestly, I'm a bit surprised at her idea. Girls don't usually do that right? I thought they just do girly things like go to clothes shops, eat, make-overs and other shit. "Really? I thought you're not into that kind of thing," I state. "What? Why so?" she asks. "You're a woman," I answer as I point at her. "So what? Did you forget how I survived back there in the arcade?" she asks, feeling a bit insulted. "You've got a point for that but, you do know I never lose right?" I say with a smug grin. She glares at me then smirks as well. "Well, Bakugou, I know I will lose to you again," she says. I nod. "But I just keep trying and wanna have some fun," she continues. I was surprised yet again. "Heh, fine, since you won't challenge me this time and just wanna have some fun, then we won't bet like back at the arcade," I say. She smiles at me. "Thanks for the consideration but I also wanna have a request," she says. I stare at her to mean that she could go on. "I wanna see you have fun too," she says. I know what she means, she means I'll have fun besides feeling victory. "Fine, on behalf of me making you do the decision, I'll have some fun," I say.

She smiled then our order came. We just indulged into our food and that's it. I don't wanna talk right now because I'm hungry as fuck. We finished then she led the way towards the place. It really was close to the sports stadium. We entered then there were already loads of people. "The registration is over there," she says then I follow. We listed our names and they told us to wait for a moment because other people were listed before us. With that, I paid and Uraraka and I just sat down on one of the lined chairs. A half an hour later, they called our names then we got up to go towards those people. "Your cars are over here," the guy says. I got in the black one while she got in the yellow one. Both of us readied our engines then waited for the countdown. "Get ready to lose doe eyes!" I shouted. "Whatever Bakugou, just have some fun!" she yelled back. The horn blew and we stepped on it quickly. Oof, she may be doe eyes, but she can drive fast as fuck. Her car is only a few centimenters away from mine. "Not bad doe eyes!" I shouted as I glanced back but looked ahead quickly. "Stop calling me that and thanks!" she shouted back.

We kept going in circles, finishing the rounds as we went on. I'm starting to enjoy this honestly. Half an hour later, we got out and I smirked at her. "Go on, be proud of yourself," she says as she crosses her arms. "Whatever, but hey, I still win," I state. "Whatever! Did you have fun?" she asks. "Hell yeah I did, I love driving like that!" I state. She just smiles as we walked out  of the place. "What next?" she asks. I glance at my watch to see it was 1:49 pm. Still that early? I don't have anything else in mind. "I don't know what to do anymore, you think of something," I say. "I also don't know what to do," she says. "We can end it here if you want," she says. "Not yet, not fucking yet you hear me?" I state seriously. She seemed surprised at the sudden change of my tone. "Sure," she says lowly. "Ugh, this afternoon is gonna be a waste," I state. "We could go for a walk around the park?" she suggests. "Sure, let's go," I say. She smiled because she was able to think of something to do. Whatever.
