Bright and clear
Eager to burn
Red and hot
burning bright

On  n off and off n on
Consuming darkness, it spread light
Insects fell for it
Some got burned some got turned on
Faster they came higher they splattered

Tick.. tick... goes winter
Monsoon poured on
Splashing on the roof onto the glass
Around dawn, the rain went away with the clouds

It was a cold and old
Dull and dusty
Still light for a million little flies
And the old man

Six years passed by
Everyone left, the old man was left behind
He was never alone; they were together
Even the wooden chair broke last night

Last three hours has made the light brighter
As usual, the old man slept under the light
Unusually the light was flickering
It started to rain again

The torrential downpour was hitting the glass
The old man was asleep
A hissing sound spread around
Darkness consumed what it lost
