Baby bump

Amy was eating breakfast when she remembered. Today she was 12 weeks pregnant. She could tell everyone now. She continued thinking about this while she did the dishes and then went to get dressed. She put on her shirt and realized something different, her jeans and her shirt were tight. She was showing. "Oh my gosh." She thought to herself. "I've got to call Ty and tell him. Or maybe I'll just wait until he's done at work." She decided.

Amy went on with her day, cleaned the stalls, worked with client horses, and then played with Spartan. By the end of this she was exhausted. She decided to go up to the loft and take a short nap before Ty got home.

Ty drove up in front of the barn and turned off the truck. He hummed lightly to himself as he walked up the stairs. After a long shift he was excited to spend some time with Amy. But when he reached the top he quickly saw Amy was fast asleep on the couch. He sat down beside her and lifted her head and laid it in his lap. He sat there for a couple minutes just admiring her beauty and playing with her hair. Amy eventually woke up. "Hey, you're back? What time is it?"

He smiled down at her. "Yeah I've been home for an hour or so. It's 6 o'clock. You wanna go over for dinner?"

Amy thought for a second. What she really wanted to do was go back to sleep. But she knew that wasn't an option. "I don't really feel like it. Why don't we just stay here and cook something? I think there's a pizza in the freezer."

"Alright that's what we will do." And with that Ty got up and started making the pizza.

Amy laid there trying not to fall back asleep when she remembered. Her bump. She had to show Ty. She jumped up and went into the bedroom and took her flannel shirt off so she was just in a tank top. "I've got something to show you." She said excitedly.

"What is it!?" Ty asked.

Amy walked backwards into the kitchen so he couldn't see yet. "Close your eyes."

Ty closed his eyes. "Alright now what?"

Amy turned around to look at him. "Okay look!"

That's not what Ty was expecting but he loved it. She looked amazing with that little bump. "Amy you look incredible. Baby Borden's already making an appearance, huh?" He smiled big.

"Yeah, baby Borden is. I'm so happy Ty." Amy couldn't help but smile.

"I'm so happy too. You are so perfect. I love you and our baby." He walked over and hugged her.

"I love you more." She kissed him softly.

Their kiss was interrupted when the oven started beeping. "Well I guess the pizzas ready." Ty giggled as he pulled away.

They ate their dinner and talked all about how she was feeling and the baby. "Well my clothes don't really fit anymore. Do you think we could go into town tomorrow and get some that do?" She asked embarrassed.

"Amy you don't have to be embarrassed. You're not getting fat, you're pregnant. And I would love that. Scott gave me the day off tomorrow too." He reached over the table and grabbed her hand and squeezed it.

"Shower?" She asked nodding to the bathroom.

"You can go first." He smiled at her.

"Thank you." She got up and headed for the bathroom. Ty cleaned up the kitchen and table and waited for Amy to finish. She finally came out and went to get dressed. "Ty! None of my T-shirt's fit." She yelled starting to tear up.

Ty walked in to see his pregnant wife in tears that none of her clothes fit. "It's okay, Amy. Here wear one of mine." He went in his drawer and pulled out her favorite one. "You love this one."

She sniffled and put it on. "Yeah I do. Thank you Ty." He whipped her tears and hugged her. "I love it because it smells like you."

"Let me go shower then let's watch a movie." Ty suggested.

"Sounds perfect." She sniffled again and whipped her tears away.

Ty showered as quickly as he could and then snuggled up with Amy on the couch. They grabbed the laptop and turned on their favorite movie, the longest ride. They finished their movie and headed to bed. Amy cuddling close to Ty, and Ty holding her close.

Ty woke up excited for the day ahead of them. Shopping for Amy, and the baby! Well Amy thought it was just for her, but Ty planned on surprising her and going to a couple different baby stores. He quietly got up and fed the horses for Amy then went back up to the loft. "Amy, you ready to get up?"

Amy woke up really groggy and tired. "No." She sighed. "But I guess I will." Ty helped her up and picked her out some jeans, a tank top, and a flannel. "You dont have you to button the shirt. Just let it hang open, people can see now. Remember we can tell people?" He smiled. 

"Right. Let me get dressed and wash my face then I'll feed the horses and we can go." She replied.

"Horses are already fed." He smiled at her.

"How did I get so lucky?" She smiled even bigger.

He sat on the couch and watched Amy wash her face and put some make up on. Amy was always beautiful in Ty's eyes, but something just made her even more beautiful now. She was glowing. That pregnant women glow. She looked stunning. She came out of the bathroom to see him starting. "What are you staring at?" She sounded kinda grumpy.

"Just how beautiful you are. And how lucky I am to call you my wife." He grinned. "Now come on let's go shopping."
