My husband has been very distant lately. He never kisses or hugs me the same way. Everything feels cold with him. Whenever I talk to him he either just shrugs me off or simply says yes or no. I feel like he's cheating or has fallen out of love with me.
Right now I'm on the phone with my best friend she is always there for me and she suggested I try something.
On call:.........
Mary: Y/n if he is acting that strangely why don't you try and test him.
Y/n: Test him? How would I do that if he won't even talk to me properly.
Mary: Well if he seems distant lately and acting as if he doesn't want or love you anymore then why don't you write a not saying that you want a divorce and you are leaving?
Y/n: OH! Thats actually a good idea. But what if he actually want a divorce?
Mary: I don't think so but it doesn't really hurt to try.
Y/n: Alright I will go do that ttyl sis.
Y/n P.O.V
Alright I wrote the letter. It basically says that im tired of him and wanted a divorce. I hope he would act hurt and not happy. Ethan should be home soon so I will go hide under the bed where I can see him and his reaction.
10 minutes later:
I hear his car pulling in and then the door closing.Ethan walks into the room and reads the letter. After a couple minutes of complete silence he walks out of the room and comes back in with a pen writing something on the letter. Then he started to change out of his work clothes while humming happily.
My heart broke and tears started to build up in my eyes. Ethan. My husband of many years seemed overjoyed that I "wanted" a divorce.
He suddenly grabbed his phone and dialled a number. I could hear him talking to someone and my heart continued to break into a thousand pieces.
Ethan: Hey babe. I'm getting changed now i'll be there in a bit. I know you are worried about y/n but don't worry she just wrote this stupid letter saying she wanted nothing to do with me and she wanted a divorce. I'm glad she finally got the hint that I wanted nothing to do with her anymore.
The tears I had been trying to hold on to dropped on the floor. I covered my mouth with my hand in hopes to muffle my sobs. I then hear Ethan continue.
Ethan: I know sweetie I wish I had never met her too and instead met you to avoid this mess. See you soon!
Then he hung up and walked out. I waited till I hear his car drive away.
I crawl out of the bed with a broken heart. I then remember he had written something on the letter. I walk to the paper in freight of what I would see. My heart drops to my stomach when I read what he has written on it.
She reads out loud.
"I could see your feet under the bed you idiot, I'm going out to buy some milk and cereal."

Well not totally back I had read this sad story for school and I got an idea to write this!
If you guys want I can write a point of view for Ethan when he had read the letter and what went through his mind.
