"What's the line today, weirdo?" Audrey says, shuffling through books. She's about to tip over on that old ladder.
Cautiously walking up behind her, I stand there in case she falls. Which, I was right.
She trips and falls into my arms, "Hey, I'm a thief and I'm here to steal your heart." I say smirking. I give her a cheeky wink as I set her down.
"Thanks, Luke." She says, rolling her eyes.
"No prob, cupcake."
