"GAAAHH," Steven woke up in shock. The Gems looked at him worried and Bakugo goes to see what had happened. "Oi, what's wrong?" Bakugo says trying to be nice. Steven clenches his chest and looks at Pearl with his eyes so sad.

Garnet knew what happened due to her future vision she got up and hugged Steven close to her patting his head. "Shhh... it's ok," she says in a comforting tone.

Bakugo decides to wake up all the people in the dorms looking at them with confused eyes. Deku sees this and decides to ask if he could help. Todoriki sees this and decides to make some ramen noodles with tea to drink. "Hey um... miss... is it ok if we could help?" Deku askes not certain if they would allow them.

"L-lion..... wheres lion?" Garnet looks at Steven and as if on cue a black portal shows up and the heros in training get ready to fight when they see the letter. Steven reaches to grab it after the portal disappears. As Steven read the letter tears were falling from his eyes. Everyone looked at him curious what the letter said. Garnet looks at it and growls in anger. Pearl and Amethyst looks at it and looked shock and worried. The heros looked at the letter and Deku read it out loud so everyone can hear.

"Hello Mr. Universe,
           We have your precious pet and will keep him. Your friend has been keeping under wraps. Come and join us to see your pet again or the consequences will be severe.
        Lots of hate,
                     League of Villans"
Every one was shocked that they would go that far. Steven clenched his fist and started to cry even more. Then an idea popped into his head. He decided that he would go and try to save lion and Connie. "I'm going...." Steven said looking at the Gems and Class 1-A. Steven left that night to save his friends.

'Mabye this is the imbalance that white was talking about' Steven thought to himself. As he was walking he noticed that the some people were looking at him. He got to the bar and knocked on the door. Lion tried to go up to Steven but was stopped the the blue flames of Dabi. Connie looked at Steven as he summoned his sheild. "I'm here like you asked." Steven said with anger laced in his voice.

He gave Connie the "eye" and she nodded getting on lion. No one noticed this and thought nothing of it. "Breathe. Count to five.

Two
Three
Four
Five."
He thinks to himself. "NOW!!" he shouted out to Connie as he go through lions mane with Connie with him taking her home to lars head. Connie looks at Steven about to cry but she nods coming out through his head.

Steven goes back to see that lion teleported back to the dorms. "Hey bud.... you need to go back.... I'm sorry. Please protect Connie and everyone else." Steven says sadly knowing it might be the last time they see each other but lion stays with him not leaving him. They go back inside the dorms with lion. Pearl and Garnet smile at him knowing that he was safe and saved Connie.

"What was that? What did you do?" Aizwa sensei questioned when Steven passes out on the floor.
