Kairi's POV
I've been questioning my sexuality for awhile now. I finally came to terms with it and accepted myself.
So I wanted to come out to some of my closest friends. I already came out to Mattia, since he's the easiest to talk to and I trust him the most. He was so accepting and it felt like a weight was lifted off my chest.
But then he asked if there was anything else I wanted to tell him with this weird look on his face. And I told him that was it. I don't know why he was acting so weird, I just chose to ignore it.
"Did you want to tell us something?" Alejandro asked me.
I should just say it like ripping off a bandaid. Quickly so I don't regret it and end up hurting myself more.
"I think I'm gay" I said to Alejandro and Alvaro.
Which is how I got here, with Alejandro and Alvaro sitting in my living room. Telling them something that could change the way they see me and waiting for one of them to say something or react to what I said.
"Pay up babe" Alvaro said looking at Alejandro with a smile on his face.
"Damn it, I really thought he was bi" Alejandro said taking out a twenty dollar bill.
Did they bet on my sexuality? And did Alvaro just call Alejandro babe?
"Look at him Ale, gAy that's all I'm seeing" Alvaro said pointing at me.
"What the fuck?" I asked looking at the both of them.
"You sure you're not bi?" Alejandro asked still holding the money.
"No" was all I said. I was still trying to figure out how they made this bet and why.
"You heard him, now run me my money" Alvaro said snatching the money from Alejandro's grip.
"So, do you have a crush on Mattia?" Alvaro asked casually while putting the money in his wallet.
I felt my face burning as he said this.
"No, why would you think that?" I asked in a small voice playing with the strings of my hoodie.
I wouldn't say that I have a crush on Mattia. I just find him extremely attractive and love being near him. But that's only cause we're really close.
"Maybe because you talk about Mattia like he's your boyfriend. Seriously, you two act like an old married couple" Alvaro said looking at me.
"I thought they were already dating, you and Mattia must be pretty slow" Alejandro said.
"We're not dating!" I said pouting and trying to glare at them.
"You're not dating who?" Mattia asked sitting down beside me. He wrapped his arm around me and pulled me closer to him.
