"Jess! C'mon! We're going to be late!!" I yell down the hallway. "STOP YELLING AT ME! I'M ALMOST DONE!!" My sister yelled back at me from here vanity in her room. She's always been really into makeup and how she looks, though, she is cute, I have to give her that. My sister rushes down the stairs all dolled up for the first day of high school. "Finalllllyyy. Does it take you that long to wash your hair, do your makeup, pick out and outfi- oh I see now..." Jess gives me a death glare. "I need what I need, Jeremy. Now come on or YOU'LL be the one making us late."
I give in to my sister's stubbornness and walk out the door. As soon as we get to school my sister rushes into the school, "What are you doing!?" I yell at her "DRAMA CLUB" she said continuing her rampage into the school. I swear in all my days I will never be able to get control of that girl. I check my schedule and make my way into the school. I have first-period chemistry so I ask a teacher and he says it's in the east wing so I head there. As soon as I get into the classroom I have trouble deciphering whether it's actually a classroom or a zoo exhibit disguised as a classroom. paper airplanes were being thrown, kids were being noogied, and chaos was being reigned.
I pick a seat to the corner of the room and sit down slightly afraid of what would become of me if I tried to socialize with anyone. I realize that my sister isn't here yet. We had gone over both of our schedules yesterday when the school sent them out and we had had the same first period. Honestly, I wasn't surprised considering how irresponsible my sister had always been. I looked around the room and see two other students who seemed to be the only ones acting sane. A boy with messy long red hair, emerald eyes, a grey hoodie, and jeans. Next to him was a girl with short blue hair, golden looking eyes, a jean jacket over a black and white striped shirt, and a black skirt.
I walk over to them awkwardly humming on the way, "Hellooo..." the guy looks at me shyly and the girl just kinda smirked. "Sup?" replied the girl. Not too bad of a start, she seems pretty welcoming. "Not much..what about you?" I said still pretty awkward. "Nothin'." She said happily smiling. I could tell she thought my awkwardness was funny. "Sooo, what are your names?" I blurted out kinda quickly. I have no idea why I try to start conversations. "I'm Sythi and this is Jackson." She says pointing to the boy she was talking with.
"Sythi, huh? Never heard that name before." I laughed slightly. The girl laughed along with me. "Yeah, a lot of people haven't. Guess I'm special!~" She was smiling a lot now. "Yeah, I-" I was cut off by a loud voice suddenly booming. "Ok students. Hello, I'm happy your here, this is your first day.. yada yada yada.. Ok! Now that that's out of the way, lets take some color out of some skittles."
