After class, I started to walk out of the classroom but was stopped by a hand on my shoulder. "Hey, kid." I turned around to see Sythi with Jackson standing behind her. "Uhh... we never got your name." "Oh, I'm Jeremy" I replied. "Well, Jeremy, how would you like to hang out after school?" She said sweetly. Honestly, I was surprised. "Why?" I asked nervously "Well, you seem lonely and sad and honestly just seemed kinda pathetic, and just why not?" She had a point, I was pretty lonely. My sister was my only friend. "Good point, I'm in." she smiled at me saying this, "Great! See ya at the cafe on Willis Street at 4, byyyye!~" She said walking away "bye!" I say. Jackson waves happily.
After school, I stepped out into the school parking lot. Surprisingly, I didn't see Jess anywhere. Then my mom's car pulled up and who did I see through the window but my sister. I got in and sat quietly for about 5 minutes before asking the beating question, "Sooo, what happened?" My mother looked at my sister, "Care to tell him, Jessica?" She stares angrily back at her. "Today at school, this girl named Mio was giving me crap about how I was "disrespecting my gender" by wearing these "slutty clothes" and she had the nerve to slap me." She said fumingly, "Soo, why did you get in trouble?" I asked confused. "I beat the shit out of her." she replied looking proud of herself. "And that has landed her 4 weeks of grounding." My mother chimed in. Honestly, it sounds to me like the girl had it coming. My sister can wear what she wants, I mean sure sometimes it's a little revealing but that's no reason to say or do that to her, but I leave it be.
When we got home I realized it was around 3:20 so I started getting ready. I got finished I walked into the living room and to the front door. "Where are you going?" I hear a small voice say behind me. "Oh, some classmates invited me to the cafe." I replied turning around to see my sister. She looked kinda pissed. " You said we would hang out today.." She said starting to get kinda angry. I did say that... "Oh crap I did... well we can hang out when I get back, how about that?" I compromised, "UGH, fine whatever!" She agreed reluctantly. "Perfect! Bye!" I said walking out the door. "Bye.."
I arrive at the cafe around 4:05 and scan the area. I quickly spot out Sythi's blue hair among the crowd and head over to her and Jackson's table. "Hey, guys!" I exclaim. "Hey!~" Sythi says, "Hi." Jackson says. I feel like this is going to be an interesting first hang out..
